Sticky vinyl residue

After removing older matte black vinyl wrap off the roof of my 2012 V6, i came across alot of leftover sticky residue from the adhesive.

Does anyone have any experience in removing this? I purchased 3m adhesive remover from autozone, didnt work as well as i expected.

Goo gone is an option however, i can only find the "automotive" goo gone in 1 ounce bottles at walmart, autozone ect.

Any home remedies? Obviously trying to preserve the clear coat. Thank you

I used a product called Rapid Remover. I had a similar issue when I removed one of my vinyl stripes. YouTube rapid remover. It didn't work quite as well as the video but it did work.

WD40 works good but not sure how safe it is for paint. Alcohol works but will also eat through clear coat if your not careful.
