Rough exhaust tip question

I have a 2013 V6 mustang with super 44 Flowmaster exhaust. Are these tips a direct weld on or do I have to buy the rough exhaust? I love how they look and right now I have the stock tips. The inlet and outlet is 2.5 on my Flowmasters I am just not sure what the size of the roush are. Thank you.

The Roush tips are held with a bracket. I don't remember if the stock tips are welded on or not though

I think they weld right on, I'm just wondering if the size is right

I think they are 2.25" at the muffler side since that is the stock pipe size.

If your flowmaster are 2.5", why would you buy tips that are 2.25"?

Do your Flowmasters not have tips already welded on? You can find all sorts on Ebay and have your local muffler shop weld them on. I just went to a shop that stocked all types of tips and they welded on what I liked for $20 plus $50.00 for the tips.

Roush tips are 2.5" while my Flowmasters are 2.5" so they will fit correct?

Sounds like it. Have you crawled under there and stuck them on to see if they fit? Are the Flowmasters already on the car? This isn't rocket science, check them out. People on a forum cannot see what you have or are trying to accomplish.

I don't think you are understand what my issue is. I have not payed for them yet so I would imagine someone has done this before. Before I get them shipped out I want to make sure they will fit or else it is a waste of both parties time. I just called my muffler shop and they said yes they would fit so question answered.

Yes Flowmasters are on the car with stock mustang tips. Can't try the Roush on because I do not have them and don't know if they can fit so did not want to buy them but yes they will fit.

Great, now I get it. A good muffler shop can make anything fit so you are good.

I've never had problems with them after taking 3 mustangs to them so I think they will come through fine.
