Hmmm, can't decide if you are baiting me or not since I have a V-6 car with a GT500 rear spoiler and super snake stripes??? FWIW, that is the only thing Shelby that I have put on my car. No GT500 badging, or badging like that...I just like the look. The grille, that came with the car since it is a MCA Edition.

If you were not trying to bait me, sorry. I don't like any faux car. I have seen plenty around.

Also too, go just east of San Diego just outside El Centro and you too have NO emissions testing, but sadly i think he assumes ALL of California is LA down to San Diego.

LMAO thats a good one...it "rains" he says...lol.... I have seen more rain just this summer alone out here in Boston than i did in 2 years in San Diego....but i get your point...its part of why i said you get sunshine 360 days out of the year. the other 5 is when it gets cloudy or...heh heh "rains"

Not baiting, I was meaning more badging and words saying it's something it's not. It'd look pretty ridiculous if I put snake symbols on my gt.

Ok, then...No problem...

The only badging that I did put on was '66 Mustang 2+2 under the Tri-Bar running pony. When I bought the car, it reminded me so much of my long sold '66 Fastback...

I totally agree with putting Snake symbols, etc. on regular cars. Back when I first got into Mustangs, I was really into classics. It drove me nuts when I would come across a car that was a GT and it turns out it would be a rebadged straight 6 or stock V-8 car. Then again, that was back when I thought a 60's Mustang should be totally stock. Now I really like and appreciate the whole resto mod crowd. I am always keeping my eyes open for that long lost '66 or '67 Fastback. Two cars that I let get away...

I bought the '67 FB when I was 15 for $1500. It needed a lot of work. I kept it at a buddies house while we got it running. Never quite got there. We did terrorize the neighborhood running it with open headers though...Sold it to a Mustang restorer and parts guy to buy the '66 FB. I sold it in 2000 when we bought a house and our daughter was born. Didn't really have a big enough garage to keep it and work on it, or the time and extra cash. I do wish I had either car back...One of these days I'll replace one of them. Till then, I am really enjoying the '14...

Not sure where you got that but both my Oxford Dictionary of the English Language and my Merriam-Webster Dictionary list it.

ain't \ 'änt\ [prob. contr. of are not] 1 a: are not b: is not c: am not -- though disapproved by many and more common in less educated speech, used orally in most parts of the U.S. by many educated speakers esp. in the phrase ain't I 2 substand a: have not b: has not

I completely agree a Mustang is a Mustang. Any Mustang enthusiast should not talk down on anybody else's Mustang. I will admit I wanted a 5.0, but $500 a month in insurance is way to much. My 3.7 V6 is nice and roughly $400 bucks cheaper.

Went to my first Mustang meet yester. Out of 18 or so cars, mine was the only V6 Cyclone. No harsh words or ribbing, and several of the guys commented on the exhaust (Borla S-Types). People are tough behind a keyboard but in person everyone seems to mellow out.

She was my X-Girlfriend and A snake she was.
She did not last long at all.

V6 Mustangs are nice same goes for the new EB 2015. What brings the hate is modding them to be a fake GT or Shelby. It is what it is! Some V6 exhausts even sound pretty decent, a little weird but not bad.
It's mainly just the people trying to be posers and not embrace what they have...no bragging, no revving, no smack talk. We're on the same team.
Now.....Ecoboost Mustangs with aftermarket exhaust make me want to throw up in my mouth....they sound exactly like this car....

Agreed. It's the posers and wannabes that almost always start the trash talking.
Just look at who started this thread....a V6 guy. Boom.

I just purchased a 2012 V6 Mustang last Monday. It's only got 13k miles and is in near perfect condition. When I posted a picture of it on Facebook, I immediately got stormed with hate as to why I'd buy a V6 automatic Mustang. I, however, love the car anyway and have been having a blast driving it! It was a huge upgrade from a 4 cylinder Ford Focus. Here's a pic:

I just purchased a 2012 V6 Mustang last Monday. It's only got 13k miles on it and is in basically mint condition. I love it! When I posted a picture of it on Facebook, I was immediately swamped with negative statements about how I "should have bought the V8" and I "wasted my money". I, however, love the car and have been having a blast driving it! Here's a pic:

How in gods great world do you get $500 a month in insurance for a GT and $100 for a V6? In 5 decades never heard of anything that much of a difference in $400 a month?

Yes, same good experience I had in the local mustang club, folks wanted to know what Muffs I had on my past SIx gun that sounded better than some 3Valves. My past 2013 V6 even took runner up at the Ford Lima Engine Plant mustang show for late model in 2012 the year I got it. I keep that plaque at work, it was sponsored by "The Beef and Bourbon" Restaurant. IN 2014, a Club member with a V6 with lots of show mods took the NorthWest Ohio ALL mustang show here in town for late model class; its a super looking red horse

Yep, my 2013 GT got beat by a Extra Modified 2015 Eco Boost at the Milan Track. It pulled a 12.1 on Slicks and race gas tune with extra boost. Lots of mods are going to happen with that model.
