Gears or Longtubes?

I only have enough to buy gears + install or longtubes and x-pipe.
Which would be the best upgrade for the money or which should I do first?
Im thinking 3.73 gears and BBK LT's + x-pipe.

How much did install cost you? Also did you have the kit or just gears?

The install cost me $290 and around $ 328 for the kit, gears, gear oil and friction modifier. I bought the entire kit. I would get the kit.

Here is my order for the gears and everything! I needed 75W 90 gear oil not the 140. They sent me the correct gear oil later.

Yes sir, don't forget the bottle of friction modifier either from Ford racing or Motorcraft. They are both the same.

Went with 3.31's (oil was 75W 140) cause I love the gas mileage. Also got a Bama tune. Am quite happy with it.
