New Shoes For Baby

What do you guys think of these wheels for my convertible? Its a girls car, so I want something classy and feminine.

Not a big fan of solid white wheels. Screams import to me, but if you're looking for feminine, that's probably close to it lol.

I know a guy with a red fr-s with white wheels. It looks pretty good but idk about on a mustang. Maybe if you have white stripes.

Saleen White Mustang Wheel - 18x9 (05-14 All) - Free Shipping
Hey Taylor,

I personally am a huge fan of white on red.

Given it's the complete opposite of my color scheme (black on red) I think it looks awesome and you definitely don't see it as much.

The Saleen Style White Wheel is definitely a good choice and I really don't think you can go wrong.

If I were to make another recommendation for you along the lines of what I think you are looking for, the Silver MMD 551C might also be a good choice for you. Check them out!

I hope this helps and feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

White wheels on a race red car wouldn't exactly be an eye candy imo. I'd suggest stay classic with a set of charcoal AMR drift style wheels. Or maybe niche targas/Milans, with a set of black stripes.

Maybe its just me but this setup would look much better than a plain red car with white wheels.

I personally dont care for it, but I think with the red it would look good. Keep in mind that if later down the road you want to change wheels, these probably wont have much resale value...

white rims are pretty badass. honestly, i think the white on red combo would stick out and you'd definitely get noticed.

Seems like white wheels would be nearly impossible to keep clean. I'm thinking brake dust would stick out like a sore thumb on them.

Actually you'd be surprised. I work with a company called autobell a car wash place and one of our customers has a g35 with white 5 spokes and they are probably the easiest rims to clean and they still look white as all day. If you go for white you have to be just have to clean them, like every other colored rim

Black Machined FR500 Mustang Wheel 18x9 (05-14 All) - Free Shipping

May be too late, but id suggest these considering you have a 13-14 red convertable.

A little different but the silver and black accents on red are still very nice.

Mud would like with a white top...not with black. If the top is tan I'd go with chrome. Whatever rims you get wax them inside out when you rotate tires that will make them easier to keep clean.

White would look great until it got blackened and dirty by brake dust....

I'm more inclined that it looks good on a import than domestic.

Good call Mud. never thought of that. I know to wax the lug ports and the bottoms of the lug nuts after painting or dipping your wheels, but to keep them clean. are you talking regular car wax or a spray on?

White wheels on a red car would look good if it had white racing stripes IMO.

I never had a pair of white shoes look bad, the soles would wear out before the white got dirty. I say it depends on the person, if she's clean and takes care of her stuff shouldn't be a problem. If she's dirty thats a different story. Something tells me if she's on a forum asking questions she probably cares about her stuff and will take care of it.

If you dont' have the Brembo Brake package, try the Chrome Bullits. I have them on my car and love them.

If you like the looks, more power to you. They will give the car a classic look, when whitewalls were put on cars. Everyone has opinions, but yours is the one that matters. Enjoy.

S,

I use regular wax...fwiw on my 2012 since it has a lot of the black plastic on it I like Turtle Wax Ice because you can use it on the black plastic w/o staining it as many other waxes will. It has a decent shine and super easy to use. I prefer the liquid over the spray.

White rims go with any colour. Plus the white will be easier to cover if you wanna plastidip them
