I've heard a lot of convincing stories but nothing verifiable with regards to why this would actually cause any damage to your (manual transmission) car. I can see why the bucking would mess with an automatic transmission however.

Would like to see something stronger than speculation. The timing overlap is basically a misfire, I don't see that doing much at idle. If there are any oil pressure issues I would think that would be easy enough to demonstrate physically.

I spoke to mpt and they said there hadn't been any complaints on the car malfunctioning or Anything. Only thing that could go bad are the cats but other than that nope nothing.

Other than stalling, long term engine defects, and low MPG, you're straight. Go ahead and run around town breaking necks 👍

I've long since seen the ghost cam debate, but I haven't seen anyone post any sort of data on the subject to prove their points. Regardless it sounds cool and I'm still not getting one lol.

Yep, I have never heard of any issues stemming from the tune, other than some surging and stalling from the very first revisions of the tunes, but those have long since been ironed out. (Unless you have a stage 3 tune with a manual and don't pay attention and stall out, but then that's on you haha.)
