I love it, and have a 7" att tablet that you work perfectly especially since I don't use it. But I'm not sure I could cover my existing radio and live with myself.

Bad ***. I would have never expected it to be a tablet. Way cheaper than my raxiom Nav. too.

This is pretty cool... I've been thinking about in dash nav for my 03 and if I found a small tablet the right size, I could use this idea too

Pretty slick. Looks so much better than some people's hackjobs I've seen. Minus the cf, looks oem, and the cf does add a nice touch.

I've been holding my tablet in front of my radio all evening trying to figure out how I'm going to get mine on a hinge so I can flip it up for my Shaker. No doubt mine will never be as clean as that one.

So, have one of my own in my car. Not as clean as this, but curious what App that is with the mustang and ford logos?

Looks good. Just an FYI. My OEM head unit didn't have SIRIUS either. I went on EBay and purchased another OEM head equipped with tuner SDARS tuner. The swap was easy and I purchased the antenna from Sirius Satellite Radio Accessories. To select SIRIUS you use the music selection button on the steering wheel.

So basically a $65 ASUS tablet, a $12 Bluetooth device, Tablet talk and an aux input to whatever headunit one is using and that's it?

This would be something to think about when I re-do the interface in the New Edge eventually. I've got a laser etcher at work too that I might be able to program to punch a cutout in thin enough metal.

If I didn't like my shaker radio I would have already cut a plate. I have experimented with Kydex trying to make a flip up version so I could still get to my radio. I'm wondering if a Bluetooth backup cam will connect to this as well.

We all have been asking for someone to fab these up but no one wants to do it. It really does take time to do so. I can imagine it being a second job so I can understand why its not being mass produced or being made upon requests.

But I agree I would love one and he did drop me a PM about him selling his old setup but I never got the funds to do so.

Hopefully when he gets bored of his new setup

Somehow I saw some company does sell this mod somewhere when I surf around internet the other day. But I can't find it back. The price of the kit is about $200 if I remember correctly. I also remember that they use 4 pieces of strong magnet to hold the kit on top of stock console panel just like those magnetic smart phone holders.

Looks great! I really like this setup because it looks OEM and it's not something permanent. I don't like the Raxiom kit, I prefer a tablet with unlimited customization.
