Please sign petition for supercharger kit!!

https://www.change.org/p/kenne-bell-...t_created=true

so far us v6 owners only have a few choices for forced induction. Procharger is the only company making a supercharger for our 3.7L mustangs. A roots style or top mounted supercharger would be awesome, so lets show our support and sign this petition. Takes no longer than a couple minutes. Thanks.

not to be a debbie downer but the way our intake is desinged it will be pretty tough to make a PD blower for the 3.7, on another note i believe Popeye is trying to attempt to install a gt500 blower on his somehow

And the fact Ford is phasing out the 3.7 I don't see much chance of it happening honestly.

Well I think another problem is alot of these companies dont realize how many people would be interested in sonething like this. Might as well try and let them know.

It wont fit, There's just physically not enough space in the valley ... not unless its a REALLY tiny supercharger, thats why no one has made one yet.

Not enough to warrant the massive expensive of a totally new design, R&D and production.

The V6 Mustang modding community really isn't that large. Then when you consider how many people would seriously consider that route, it just doesn't make business sense.

The PD blowers are often times $1000 to as much as $3000 more than the centrifugal options in the 5.0 applications, and very few people are even procharged as far as this platform is concerned :/

what makes you say this??? I haven't heard or seen anything close to this.

also as everyone has said there just isn't enough space to fit a good roots style sc, granted it would be cool but just not worth it.

either save up and get a procharger or one of the few turbo kits out there.

Its been known the 2.3L Ecoboost is going to replace the V6 as the base model. Its why theres not really any packages for the 2015+ V6, they're focusing on the EB.

Hey RR Stang

Out of curiousity can you tell me about your paddle shifters. Was this a after market installation..I have not seen this option in a mustang before. I would be intrested in any info you can supply such as company that does it, cost, brand names, etc. Thanks

If you're trying to say it's cause it's a 60 degree engine then that doesn't really matter

I feel that does matter? It limits the size of the supercharger that will fit in the valley (which there is virtually non of on the 3.7) to something that would just be uselessly small, or it would have to sit on top of the motor and require like a 4" cowl lol.

I think RR Stangs car is a 2013. I may be wrong but I have not seen the paddle shifters on a 2013...
Thanks

I'm not 100% sold that they are phasing it out. I have a feeling the rental companies have a say in that, and they probably do not want a turbo 4 due to reliability issues with rental drivers.

The V6 might live on in the mustang, but IMO the 3.7s days are numbered. Ford has already killed it in the F-150.

please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the N/A 3.5 in the F150 the same engine as the outgoing 3.7 just samller??? we might end up getting something like this in the mustang to further increase the gap between the v6 and an ecoboost 4banger so I'll stick to my prior beliefs that we'll see a v6 mustang for years to come.

I even remember reading an article from ford stating that they do plan on adding direct injection in both the 5.0 and v6 in the near future.

The problem with the 3.7s future is that its now only in the mustang and Lincoln mkz. When it was also in the F-150 it was justified in keeping it in production due to the sheer amount of sales, but now that the 3.7 is being replaced with the 3.5 in the F-150 I don't see it being worth while for ford to keep it in production in an already crowded ford engine camp. Like i said in my previous post IMO if ford does continue to offer a V-6 in our mustangs it probably won't be the 3.7. I hope I'm wrong because I love my 3.7!

This may open up more further turbo options using the 3.5 in the stang. Ford may use some ecoboost technology from the F-150.
