Question about 2012 Gauge cluster

Hello, i have a base 2012 V6 4 gauge cluster and im interesting is swapping to a 2012 6 gauge cluster. is the pats flash still necessary from the dealer? and will it be plug n play? meaning will the other 2 gauges (voltmeter and oil temp) work without anything extra?
