Nitrous plate kit for our engines

Ford V6 Nitrous Plate System-3.5L Ecoboost and 3.7L

Came across this on the cyclone facebook group.

Anyone here more knowledgeable about these things, have never used a plate kit.

What do people think?

I believe in order of "goodness" it goes:
Nozzle
Plate
Direct port

And basically the larger the shot you are using, the more "advanced" system you should use. I do not use nitrous, but i believe the plates deliver better mixing and distribution, up until the point where a direct port is needed (compared to a nozzle), which no one here will likely be needing on a stock motor.

I went with a nitrous outlet plate for my car... Looks a lot cleaner imo and from what I hear is a lot safer to use. Direct port looked to be a pita and I just didn't care to attempt it for what I plan on doing. 200 shot is all I ever dream of running and that's after I go fully forged.

Honestly, looking at the Intake manifold of the 3.7 again, i feel like a Direct Port would be incredibly difficult to do ... That plate system looks slick though.

MPT is working with NX and will provide a tune with the NX nitrous kit if you buy it through MPT.

Got to love MPT, working on the 3.7 Bomber turbo kit to provide a tune and now the nitrous kit.

They did not send the right bolts... An email would have fixed the issue but I was impatient and picked some up from lowes.. I think if I didn't have the bbk throttle body the bolts would have worked but I'm not sure. And ya I'm pretty happy with how it looks. oh and my fuel line they sent was 6" too short but they literally overnighted me a longer one after I called at no cost to me

Well that's quite different than what I had. They did have me send pics showing what was short etc... Btw bout how much did it cost you in all to swap to pro charger? It's in my dream build checklist to do but I suck at saving.. Lol I'm getting anxious for March so I can see what my car can do with 100 shot. That and I'll have dark star wheels/ drag radials and lcas by then

i got my procharger kit for $4300 at american muscle with a 6% forum discount, we installed it in my garge over a weekend and i added some carbon fiber hydro grapics on my procharger over flow tank and intake pipe which obviously cost extra but without that. the kit and dyno tuning set me back a little over 5k.

I am completely jealous of that thing. Hows your car like the gears? I'm a manual and I think my 3.55s are all is ever want to have. What kind of rpm you turning going 70? Guess I could ask this on a different thread since it's not quite about nitrous plates. Did you get the aluminum driveshaft just for the pro charger or did you grab that before? I'm probably just going to have a 1 piece made here locally for my nitrous.. Don't honestly see the need for a 600-700 aluminum driveshaft for mine... I've never really had one tho. You have any opinion on them???

i had bought the aluminum shaft before the procharger just for piece of mind, theyre nice, and shaved a few pounds of rotating mass, i can tell you i dont have any worries about going 140+
