I did the swap on my 2014 and used version 86 of the IDS software. One important thing to do is use the FordExtendProgr.exe file located here Index of /FORD.

Also, if you have not done so, I would read this thread (definitely the first 12 - 13 pages) How to install a 2013 Mustang Track Apps Instrument Cluster in a 2013 Base model GT

It was pretty simple once I ran the FordExtendProgr.exe file - and it doesn't matter if it's a GT or a V6. Mine was a V6 and it worked as advertised.

Well, seems my hyperlink broke, but if you go back to that post, it should work.

Kevin, I actually commented on the Base GT thread, before I noticed this one.
I am looking to do the same mod on my 2014 V6 Base with Performance pack. Not sure which path I am going to take yet (dealer or self mod). So I have not heard anyone comment about dealer warranty issues after change out.

Given that I am in the first year of my warrant and under 10K on 2014 I don't want to do any mods that would give the dealer a reason to deny warranty. Has you or anyone had any issues with the dealer after the cluster swap? I am wondering if ordering the part thru a Ford Dealer and having my local due the swap is the way to go to ensure my warranty stays in tact.

I had my local ford dealer verify the milage on both clusters and had them do the programming. My Oem cluster had 24k and my new one had only 6400km on it, they just add the difference whenever my car goes in for servicing. As Kevin mentioned talk to your dealer
