Yes but its real carbon fiber.. your not gonna find a complete roof replacement.. I dont even think its possible without serious modification

I have two rolls of overlay cf that is good for roof install just laying around in my basement.

MPT TUNE, Borla S-Type, Airaid Cai, Ford racing X pipe, Mac ceramic shorty headers, 2010 GT500 rims, 35% tint, Sr Springs, J&M phb, camber bolts, blacked out side markers, front and taillights.

What don't they make for these cars!! I wonder if that would be difficult to take care of?

Unless the car came with t tops or a removable roof your probable not going to find a complete replaceable carbon fiber roof. Or at least in what I've seen that is the case

Pretty much this. It'd have to be a completely custom thing which would be insanely expensive.

The only way I could see it done is carbon fiber around an aluminum skeleton so it could be welded to the body of the car.

But that's also dangerous since you've just lost some structural rigidity.

If they COULD do it, it would probably be roughly the same process as the aftermarket glassback. And considering you're not getting away with that for under 3-4k, the CF would probably run considerably more. And quite honestly the potential for compromise of structural rigidity for a MARGINAL weight gain hardly seems worth it. Way easier/cheaper ways to drop weight.

Not necessarily. You can have even more structural stability if you replace the right parts. But you also have to use quality Carbon fiber, which does drive up the price.

My friend works with CF and there are lots of types that are stronger than steel. But at 30x the price

I was referring to the fact that you'd have to cut the roof. Those new welds will become stress points rather than having the solid body of the car anymore.

well since the ? has been answered it's time to troll (kinda):

which would you rather have since the $ would be similar?

1. A V6 with a carbon fiber roof

2. A V8

Should have gotten the glass roof option, glass is lighter than steel (I'm kidding, lol)
