Mac Prochamber Mid-Pipe

Has anyone used this mid pipe before? I'm trying to create the deepest tone with my Borla S-Types so I was going to go with Short-Tube Headers and an H Pipe and came across this on AM. I was wondering how it compared to a regular H pipe.

I was looking at one. Decided against it because they hang lower and I couldn't find a clip with the setup I was thinking about. Not paying $500 to be a guinea pig on something like that.

Hey Vroom,

The MAC Off-Road Pro Chamber Mid-Pipe is my favorite mid pipe for the 3.7 by far.

It combines the X pipe and H pipe designs and provides a unique sound that you cannot get with any other setup. I love it!

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks! I think I may end up taking a risk and getting the MAC. I've heard that it makes a deeper tone but I haven't been able to find that many clips of the sound.

Vroom,

Noted! I will see to it that we have a sound click added to the site.

In the meantime, I do not think you will be disappointed, they sound great!

Hey Socal,

The Mac Pro Chamber Mid Pipe is a full length mid pipe that also replaces your cats.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!

I didn't even know they made that! I totally wrote it off before since I'm in California and would have to keep my cats. Would this pass smog?

I really want to hear this, cause this may be much better than the GT H i have in terms of deep tone and performance. Don't get me wrong the GT H has been great, but i do want a deeper exhaust.

I agree. I wish there were more sound samples before buying one. I'd hate to drop 320.00 or more and then hate it.

MAC OFF-ROAD PRO CHAMBER MID-PIPE and PYPES BLACK PYPE-BOMB AXLE-BACK EXHAUST, stock everything else (except afraid CAI). It's an auto so stage 2 was all I could get. I'll try to get a video with some revs--I have cool neighbors which is a plus at 6AM. I am open to suggestions to make her better--I'm probably the newest noob here.

I could see it and hear it. (Once I did I couldn't do it a 2nd time unless I refreshed the page.)
I'm on a PC with updated flash player, etc.
BTW...The next time you record it, take it out of the garage. I think the garage has a big influence on the sound.???

Sounds good though!

Get the YouTube app called Capture. You can record and then post right from your phone, it's super easy.

Ill get you some revs this week; installing an upgraded cluster tomorrow. I bought it from AM MAC Mustang Off-Road Pro Chamber Mid-Pipe PC2126 (11-14 V6) - Free Shipping

I took out the CATs (shhh). It is the one that does not have LT with it. I forget why I went this route--as the LT are a lil cheaper but the gentleman at AM convinced me it would be louder.....Im more show than go (especially in a convertble)---can really imagine it be much louder

Sounds great Ray!

I'm glad you are enjoying the mid-pipe, it definitely sounds good!

I love the deep rumbly tone that it produces, especially on the 3.7!

Thank you for sharing.
