so tonight it's nice and icy here in NJ, so I took the stang out to a parking lot to test for that water sloshing noise (which sadly is still there, and no it's def not the gas tank....sigh, off to ford sometime this week....)
so i decided to have fun because the parking lot wasn't salted at all, and it was incredibly icy. i had all advancetrac on, so i wanted to test the brakes because i never felt the ABS kick in on the 'stang before. when it does though, it's incredibly loud. anyone else notice this? like the noise it makes when everything locks up and the pedal starts to pump is just like clunkclunkclunkclunk. i don't remember my old '01 frontier making that noise when ABS kicked in, but who knows.
either way, you definietly feel the flutter in the pedal so ABS is kicking in, but it's just very loud when it does. is something wrong with mine, or is that just how the car is?
