I have the sct x4 with MPT tunes. I hear if you need to get something fixed you can go back to stock tune and after awhile the previous tune is untraceable.

I mean the MPT tunes are really strong. The Sct can tunes arent that good. I would say its worth it if you have good tunes. On the mpt tune I would do Performace with Street Shifting. Man with the 3.73's this mustang is a beast! The tune makes all the difference with the gears. Ive tested it with the sct tune and gears and it was crap compared to the mpt.

Now I don't feel so bad asking!

Retuning your car can definitely give you the highest probability with warranty issues as far as the smaller mods.

This is a mod you do at your own risk! If you have ANY doubts, do not do it. Once this is done, the car's computer will forever have a marker on it showing you wrote to it. Unless you buy a new computer for the car in the future.

It's a tough call. I bought the x4 and it made a big difference. I put back to stock when I had car back in dealer, I'm sure like everyone says there's still a trace but I feel better then just re-tune after I get it back. Throttle response is a nice change with a tune.
