Thumbs up Carbon Fiber or Painted GT500 Spoiler?

I'm trying to decide whether to go with a carbon fiber gt500 spoiler from Seibon (~400) or the painted 3dCarbon GT500 style...Need some opinions on which one looks better or more bad-*** on my Sterling Grey '14

Are you planning on having any other carbon fiber accents? If not, I'd pick the painted option.

I wrapped my mirror covers with 3M Di-Noc carbon but that's the only accent so far..the price difference would be approx. $80 between the options..

It is personal preference but I would only go Carbon Fiber if you plan on doing a few more accents on the vehicle. Such as adding hood vents at a later time or something. (For V6s the hood needs to be cut)

I personally like my GT500 spoiler from AM.

I've been thinking of doing a carbon fiber spoiler too. I was thinking of pairing it with a CF roof vinyl to black out the roof top.

The only danger with carbon fiber items (Hoods, fenders, trunk, etc) is they are often really damaged by the sun. You can see carbon fiber pieces that have been on daily drivers because they're usually really faded with the clear coat peeling off.

I say paint. Personally, I dont think CF belongs on our cars. To me its more of an import thing. I had some on my 350Z and it worked, on the Mustang...eh.

If you don't want the carbon fiber to get messed up by the sun toy would have to paint or anyways. The pained spoiler will look better. As well as Cause less hassle and less expensive over time.

The CF only yellows if you get cheap parts that only come with a gel coating. That's what yellows. If it's quality they put a clear coat over that gel coat.

I'm a fan of matching. I think it looks better. CF looks nice but stands out. On grey Mustang not bad but I agree it'd look better if you had additional CF parts to let it flow. If you're still torn do the simple answer, go with the cheaper option haha.
