Front Left Turn Signal Not Working

The front left turn signal light on my 2012 is not flashing. The bulb is good. There is no turn signal voltage at the socket. The running light works. The left rear flashes but quickly, all at once, not in sequence as normal. The right side works normally both front and rear. Thoughts?

How did you check the voltage to the socket - from my experience they can be a bit difficult to get a good read. The rapid flashing on the back means there is an incomplete circuit. I would check wire connection everywhere. May have a loose connection or could have gotten moisture and corrosion in there somehow. Maybe even a quick test of bulb to be certain would be swap out the bulb from the working side.

The rear light acting like that is normal when you have a front bulb out on the same side.
Double check with a new front bulb and if it's still not working, you need a new front socket. They get corroded sometimes. Just cut and splice.
Take a photo of the socket, show the dude at Ford, autozone etc. they have new ones in stock.http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,ca...,parttype,4024

*next time use synthetic blinker fluid, save yourself future headaches.

Yes I switched bulbs, right side works with both bulbs. Left side does not with both bulbs.

I would agree that you probably have some corrosion in the socket - may be able to clean it up, but in my opinion it's just better to replace. Hope this all helps.

Most likely it's just a corroded socket then.

....although...you could certainly use this as an excuse to get a GT500?
Your safety is too important to be running around with a messed up blinker!

what they said low voltage is easy to give ya problems with poor connections in the sockets. Is it too early in the thread to mention Blinker Fluid? remember with LED's you need to use full synthetic fluid.
