Should I get spoiler installed or leather seats?

OEM GT500 Spoiler Painted/Installed at the Dealer=$650
Katzkin Genuine Leather Seats (Cover swap) Installed=1k

Which one do you think is a better option as far as value and future resale value go? (Currently have cloth with spoiler delete)

I don't think either one will change your value any. One might make it easier to sell than the other but your car won't be worth anymore with either one.

On the leather seats, I wouldn't put those in unless you have a way to heat them. Personally I prefer cloth seats. They are more comfortable and they don't get so freaking hot on a hot day. On cold days if they aren't heated you will wish they were. Cloth seats are always comfortable regardless of temperature.

I agree about the seats but I considered going to leather as the pet hair doesn't get woven in. And easier to clean all around. Sadly the material in the cloth seats is not of the best quality.

I have leather seats in my car and I live in Florida. I dont even experience this "way too hot" seat thing people seem to complain about. Sure my car windows are tinted, but I would assume most poeple who are worried about car temperature would have their car tinted as well.

Between leather seats and a spoiler - I would go spoiler. If your back seats arent leather as well I think it would just look out of place to have half the seats in your car leather and the other half not. That and I love the GT500 spoiler and it will probably be my next mod as well.

Why installed by the dealer though? You could save yourself $300 and install it your self. From what Ive read its not that hard - seats or spoiler.

I would only do leather seats if you are gonna get the door panels with the matching leather inserts eventually and leather e brake. I did this. Costed about 1,700 altogether. I also got the gt500 spoiler.

That price is for all seats in leather.. (Not the weird pleather stuff Ford uses for the oem premium pack) I'm also at school so I don't have a place or time to either thing..I don't really mind the stock door panel besides the plastic door handle to be honest. Thanks for the opinions!

I have leather seats in my car. And they are not fun on a hot day. What percentage is your car tinted at. I am planning on doing mine at 35% this spring and hoping that will help with the hot seats this summer. I am in Kansas.

My seats are OEM and they have tags on them that say "leather".

My cars 20% back and 35 front. I was told by the dealer that they are 50% vinyl or something and consensus seems online to go with katzkin for the better quality.

I have the darkest you can legally have in Florida. 28% on the two front windows. 15% on the two small side Windows and the back glass. I also have a 15% strip down to the AS1 line on the windshield.

What's your location?

@mikeruby954 is selling his black leather seats with white accent (front and back plus brackets and all electrical wiring) for $550. He's located in South Florida.

+1. Having three dogs is exactly the reason I went with Katzkin leather on my GT.
