I don't see why not. But curious why you chose an oiled filter over a dry one?

Airaid says their "synthamax" filters are washable and reusable.

I got mine from AM, it's dry but thought that I read somewhere that it had to be conditioned with oil. I happened to be at Autozone and picked it up assuming it would work. But then wanted to be sure that I was on the right track.

The one with the dry filter costs a few dollars more. Do you have the part number of the one you ordered?

I have the Roush CAI. I'm not really sure what filter I have. I've seen the dry ones for sale for like $45. That's not awful expensive.

airaid has two filters, synthaflow and synthamax. Synthaflow requires oiling and synthamax doesnt, just cleaning and drying. if you are unsure which you have just look at the closed end of your filter. Mine said Synthamax use no oil. sprayed it with simple green, let it sit, rinsed it out, let it dry, popped it back on.
