Look really nice. The part i like about the covers is, they cover those gaps in the caliper. But the job you did here is definitely the next best thing. Save some $$ too.

I wouldn't say NEXT best thing. I would say best thing. Those caliper covers are ugly as crap. They really cheapen the entire car in my opinion lol.

Haha the brembo knockoffs! But some people like the covers to keep some of the brake dust off their rims. Everyone has their own preferences.

I would get a cutout that says Mustang and use it to spray Mustang on the calipers.

Yea 200 is a good chunk for some covers. Maybe if they were like 100-120.

How well does the paint stay on? I did mine last year on my old car and the paint cracked within 6 months. They looked perfect when I first did them, too.

I don't understand this. Why would you want a generic piece of metal randomly painted a bright color to attract your eyes to it?
Paint that crap black.
I mean....it's not some dynamically awesome bit of expensive exclusive high tech stuff here....it's just a brake caliper.
Same with the "sweet" chrome gas door covers.

What's the next cool thing? Bright yellow wiper blade arms?

Wow, so how do you really feel??

OP I think it looks nice. I have a SGM mustang and I painted mine yellow. I think it looks good and I get a lot of compliments. I like the contrast.

This paint is from duplicolor and its heat resistant! It will last for a long time! I did it on another mustang I had a while back and never had a issue with chipping or cracked

I painted my calipers black cause I didn't want them to attract a lot of attention being the ones and all then the paint started chipping within the first week so I took my old red caliper covers and painted them black but left a small red strip on the edge then got some $5 set of mustang stickers to put in the middle, I think they turned out alright. Ready to get competition big brakes with some drilled/slotted rotors though.

My back right brake started chipping for whatever reason one day while washing it with a water hose. Not sure why, but at least its not expensive to redo it.
