2014 headlights

I installed halos but they are so bright they make my headlights look dull and yellow. Do you know if I could just use bright pair of H11 bulbs to swap out or have to replace the whole unit. Also what would be closest? I'm thinking 12 or 8k.

Seeing as how 12000k is purple and also much dimmer, you'll want to stick to something like 6000k or 8000k. You lose some light output with the 8000k as well but I think it'll match the halos. Basically need to decided between matching the color or keeping your light output lol. The 6000k is bright and still has a slight blue hue to it. This is all assuming you stick with 35W output.

I'd stick with 6k or below. 8k and above looks rice and tacky. Not to mention as WhoDat said you'll have less usable light.

So I can stick with h11s and just pull out the old ones if I stick with 35w?

D3S is the bulb you're looking for if you're talking headlights. That's what the factory bulbs are.

I've heard in the 11-12 models you could easily swap the d3s bulbs out but 13+ has an epoxy seal. Can anyone confirm?

And what's that white stuff all over your Mustang? I don't see that here in Florida.
