Well when the stock gears were 2.73 my tune wasn't as strong to the tires so launches were weak, after I switched to the 3.73 gears, I can turn off advancetrac. And I'd spin hard taking off, I have noticed when I'm full In the throttle 1st to 2nd will bark the tires and it's def waaaaay more peppy...

How much did you have to pay to get the gears installed?

I love the sportsmanship, Bullitt!

Can you just clarify whether you're male or female. I don't want to be calling you a dude if you're actually a chick or vise versa.

The reason I ask is because of the painted nail in the pic you posted lol.

Just saying, the fastest na 3.7 that's provided a slip is smokinstanley and his best time is around a 12.27 with every bolt on and racing seats + rear seat delete. I find it hard to believe you are faster, with about 10 mph less and with less mods. The other guys chasing him are in the 12.3-12.4 range. All of these guys are trapping 110-112.

Go to a track and get a time slip, with your mph from the track app you'll probably be in the low 13s.

You'll notice a good difference, especially when you floor it, I went from 3.31 to 3.73. But if your auto and not afraid of losing gas mileage for superior performance, you should just jump straight to 4.10's because I have a set waiting to get installed. I'm kicking myself in the butt for not putting them in from the start listening to all these people about it being to much gear,

It shouldn't be an argument. Impossible to run 12.1 with those mods. Dont trust the track apps.

0-60 times and quarter mile times along with mod list

I'm really looking forward to see the results of this wager! Unfortunately, I don't have any time slips to post but there is a drag strip near my school and as soon as it warms up I'll be heading out to race my friends turbo miata. Any tips for someone who's never been to a strip before?

Mods: Bama 93r tune, bmr lca, relocation brackets, perf pack stock Pirelli's and 3.31 gears

I have an auto so not much tips to share. My best runs have all been off of idle and in automatic (D). Besides that just keep you foot in it Lol. Also if its cold out, keep traction control on the first run to get the feel of things n see how much traction your getting and go from there.

Good tip about the TC, I'll use it for my first run. I'd rather not light up the tires on my very first run lol. Thanks.

You know if his gear ratio in his tune is wrong the computer would think he is going faster even though he isn't.

^^^you make a good point! When I had 3.73s installed bama's new tune didn't take the gear change into account and my speedo was way off, it said I was doing 100kmh when I was only doing 80 something.! Hmmm, could explain the 12.1!

Too bad bama didn't tune it, my tune guy takes every little thing into account, thus why he's the best tuner in the okc. I don't waste my time on bama, a tune should be tested before saying it's right...how do you know what bama is sending you is correct....honestly?

Because Bama is the worlds leading mustang tuner company. You don't become the largest by giving ***** tunes. The tune may need to be tweeked by data logging but its correct.

If that's true why is, there so many bad reviews on bama. I promise you find a tuner that dynos and perfects the tune you will notice the difference. Every car is diffrent so each tune is unique to said car.

Of course your gonna have bad reviews. When a company tunes more mustangs than any other company in the world, its only logical there will be more complaints.

Really impossible to be bad and yet be the leading tuner of mustangs in the world.

Respectfully, your pony isn't making enough power to give you a 12.1 1/4 mile run. You just don't have enough torque. You maybe have 280 rwtq. Bama ran 12.98 1/4 mile with a 2015 4 banger. Bama was able to give that car around 347 rwtq and it didn't even come close to a 12.1.

No disrespect to you but your not even close to a 12.1 run. Stock 5.0's aren't running close to a 12.1 time and they have 370 rwhp and torque.

You realise your only .3 seconds slower than a 658hp GT 500 that runs 11.8 with your next to 0 performance mods other than a tune right?? You gotta understand everyone's scepticism here that there is no way a 3.7 with the mods you have is running 12.1! Like many have said hit the track and get a real time slip. No disrespect just trying to get you to see where everyone is coming from.
