0-60 times and quarter mile times along with mod list

Just interested in making a graph for a college project. Please include all the information you can. Use your best times and weather conditions, such as temp and elevation if you have it; may help but are not needed. Thanks

0-60 times and quarter mile times along with mod list

Someone else had a similar thread a while back, but I'm entirely too lazy to look for it.

My best 1/4 mile was 13.8 @ 102.

Not sure what my 0-60 is.

The 13.8 was done with a Bama 93R tune and on 245/45/19s. Those are the only mods that would have affected performance. Otherwise a stock automatic 2014 Mustang 3.7 with 2.73 rear axle. Weather cooled down quickly from 90 to 70 that evening so the track was still nice and grippy yet the air was cool. Good combo for a run. After a while the track cooled so my last run had a lot of wheel spin.

EDIT: Forgot to mention engine size.

I ran a quarter mile run on the street here and ran a 12 second, only Mods I have so far is

BBK 73mm throttle body
BBK Cai
BBK shorty headers
Custom tune by midwest streetcars
Full flow master 40 series exhaust
3.73 ford racing gears.

I'm pretty impressed with the 3.7 since it's my first v6....

Ahhhhh no. Didn't happen a 12 second 1/4 mile run based on your mods in a 3.7

Either got a really good run and hit 12.99 or forgot to type Procharger in the mods.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you have to understand where our scepticism is coming from. I/we have never seen or heard of a 3.7 with minimal performance mods hit anywhere close to a 12.1 1/4. CAI, shorty headers give minimal gains and Axel backs give 0 gains so all that speed is coming from gears and a tune?? I'm questing the accuracy of the track apps timer. Good bragging rights though to the untrained eye.

With the mods listed there is no way its going a 12.1. I would recommend taking it to a track and seeing what your car really runs. Track apps and other devices to measure track times can be manipulated and sometimes variables in the run can cause them to read incorrectly. These cars run stock 13.8-14.3 and there is no way the mods you listed would knock almost 2 seconds of the 1/4 mile time; regardless of how good the tune it. To put it in perspective stock coyotes run ~12.7's and with your mods can usually go low 12's assuming they can hook.

Other than the TB I have the same mods. Once spring eventually rolls in I'll do a 1/4 run with my newly installed premium cluster and post what it says. My car is also candy apple red which everyone knows is the fastest color lol, so I expect to see similar times.

The app may be consistent but the calculations are probably incorrect.

I question the accuracy of the computer as well. For the last 2.2 sec there was no acceleration as the speed was the same. Using some online track calculators figuring 270-280 rwhp, you're looking at a mid 13's run with that trap speed.

Track slips don't lie (usually).

The GT has over 100 extra HP on us and they're a high 12 low 13 second car.

I think you should go to an actual track and test it out, and if you show me a slip with 12.1 on it, I will eat my steering wheel.

Your track measuring app is way off. Respectfully, no way can your 3.7 based upon your mods run 12.1, 1/4 mile. Great tune regardless, not gonna happen.

The dyno will give us whp and wtq #s, but I want actual 1/4 mile times.

A 360 rwhp 5.0 isn't coming close to running a 12.1 1/4 mile time so no way your 275 rwhp pony is running 12.1 1/4 mile time. Heck, even at 300 rwhp you ain't running 12.1 1/4 mile.

A dyno is only gonna give a rwhp and torque number not a quarter mile time. At best you maybe can get low 13's with street tires based on your mods.

Yeah, that won't be an accurate measurement of actual 1/4 mile times. The guys in Times Square can replicate a Rolex, but there's a difference between the replicated version and real thing.

You'd need to be putting down around 375 whp to be 12.1. With those mods you'll maybe be 270ish.

Love your nails BTW.
