I think as far as rocks, bugs etc. it would be no different then any other aftermarket high flow grill. I mean the roush grill only have 5 bars so bugs and rocks can get through just the same. Really the only think is if a bird or small animal jump in front of your car and happens to go through the radiator which is extremely unlikely.

Dang man that grille looks good! It makes the car look a lot meaner. Too bad they don't make it for my year or the trigger would have already been pulled!

Bird headbutt my grille yesterday. My first thought was 'woooh... good thing i got the roush over the cdc' as i saw feathers fly through the air.

I left the radiator alone...wasn't comfortable painting it as I heard of paint hurting it. And they yellow ribbon is reflective velcro tape in memory of a really good friend I lost while deployed to afghanistan, there's about 12 of is that have that tape on our cars scattered across the states...

awesome, glad yo had no problems. Im thinking of painting a mesh screen black and putting that behind the grille. Do you think its necessary at all?

Is there a difference between the CDC or Cervini? How does the lower one install?

I got this grille from eBay too. I think it looks great on mine! I've had it on since mid November and there's not a single mark on my radiator as of yet. I suggest painting your radiator black to subdue it a little. I just put newspaper around the opening and gave it 2 quick swipes in the visible areas. Looks mean and clean as hell.

About To Pull Trigger On CDC Grill

Im glad you like it! Only problem is I get it Monday and it is supposed to be 39 degrees and I have been told that if I try to rip the old grill out when it is cold the tabs will break, so I might have to wait

Take your mustang for about an hour drive or so get the engine real warm, you won't have to worry about it, the engine heat should make it fine

About To Pull Trigger On CDC Grill

Got the CDC grille installed today. Did it in my parking garage with windy 33 degrees. Not used to this in Texas but had to do it. Took longer than I expected but got it done and I love it. I'm glad I didint buy the mesh screen I was going to put because the opening really is not as big as I thought it was going to be so I doubt anything unwanted will get in there. It looks super. You did the grills surround that was chrome, no?

I'll see you did not leave this boiler on the bottom of the front of the car. Has a cool look to it I might try to get some point.

Yeah I saw it before I bought it with stripes and I love the look! Still looks great without though. Glad everything worked out, I know it is a simple install but it seems like nothing ever goes as planned when I am doing car projects lol

The chrome came off with the old grille and I left everything else alone besides the grille, might be hard to see in the picture.

My comment earlier, the openning is just not as big as photos make it look.

Your car is looking awsome!

White 10 inch stripes look good on red. Had those on my Kona blue mustang and loved them. They popped like no other. Now I have the white mustang with blue stripes lol
