About To Pull Trigger On CDC Grill

I have been thinking about this for awhile, some say they like the look while some say no it looks like something is missing. I understand in the end it is what I want because it is my car. What do you guys think? I think it will look good with my white Mustang with blue stripes. Also what is the forum code? Because it is on ebay for $179 but if I can get it through AM with our code I will for sure do that, thanks guys!

CDC Performance Mustang Upper Grille 1311-7000-01 (13-14 GT, V6, Boss) - Free Shipping

The thing about the CDC grille is I think it looks awesome, but I feel like the radiator is going to take a beating without any protection. Nothing to block bugs or rocks from hitting it.

I agree but I did some research and I have found no complaints. Someone always brings it up which is a huge concern because that is what I thought but people have said they have had it installed for upwards of 20K+ miles with lots of highway driving so I am not sure. Also I dont think the Shelby would have it if it damaged anything, since it is a high end car.

A Shelby is not a "High end car"

I consider a Shelby a very high end car but that has nothing to do with my question....

I like the grille. Couple that with some hood vents and all the air rushing through on the highway will definitely help keep everything cooler.

As far as the forum code, contact AMAlex or Will. They will be able to help you out. We aren't supposed to share them and stuff.

Yea, the debate on how some people feel where the Shelbys stand could be its own heated topic.

I considered the CDC Grille for a while. I was torn between the CDC Grille and the Roush Grille. In the end, I went with the Roush Upper & Lower. Couldn't be happier.

I've had my CDC Performance Grille on the car since August 2012 - no problems at all after >30,000 miles of driving.

I've had that grille on for about 15,000 miles(pretty much split between city and highway) and I haven't had a single problem. I love the look and I've gotten tons of compliments on it. But as you already know, it's your opinion.

I want the CDC so bad! Anyway if your concerned there is a company that makes a mesh insert for the grill or you could always get some plastic hexagonal mesh from eBay or something. Besides, you could get the CDC and the mesh for the same price as the Roush by itself... To me Roush gets you to pay for the name first but that's just my $.02

ID:	175654 my cdc grille is completely new so if anyone wants it shoot me the price your willing to pay I'll include the shipping. Let me know what you guys think of this carbon fiber grilles I'm getting the upper and lower. They are basically just bezels that go around the grille openings they don't have the same gt500 look but different is sometimes better.

The CDC is an incredible look even with the stock lower grille, one of the best options imo as the other ones are all fairly similar to each other.

You can get this grille mesh from CustomCarGrills.com to go with it. It will protect the radiator

I just put myself on the notification list for the upper and lower Cervini grilles. They both include the grille mesh at a great price ($189 upper, $139 lower). If you order 2 items, they give you 10% off plus free shipping. That's a great deal. Thanks for the heads up guyz

I'm on the list too. Love the look of those upper and lower grills. I don't like the idea of cutting out the fogs permanently though. I wonder if the fog light relocation kit that puts them more towards the center will work with that grill or if something gets in the way.

One of my buddies bought a light bar and used that as a replacement for the fog lights...the bar fit perfectly in the grill...also that light bar was a million times brighter

You have to remove the plastic columns due to their central location in the grille area. Photos of the gt500 style grille do a really poor job of conveying just how much is actually covered by the grille itself. And my opinion is fogs with this grille would look strange (and not a cool I'm different strange).

I get it Monday, I can't wait. I'm going to paint a mesh screen black and place that in front of the radiator but not sure if I should paint the radiator black or not. Kind of like the look of being able to see it.
