Need help with headlight choice

I originally wanted to send in my headlights to the hid guy or the lighting firm to get the stock lights upgraded. Doing it this way would cost me about $1100 for a sick set up with sequential blinkers and cob halos as well as angle eye

But what has made me think twice is the price and I can get these headlights decked out for just over 700$ and I think they look sick. Let me know If anyone has done a headlight upgrade and if so post some pics please.Click image for larger version

You can do any of this for maybe 200 bucks or less if you're decent with basic electrical and minor fabrication . Tons of articles on hid planet and theretrofitsource.com.

Yea, just order them from arable and do it yourself. Way cheaper plus you'll have the experience in case you want to do it again in the future

I just ordered the second ones with Bluetooth control and iron man backlighting as well as the angle eye lighting. It will take 6 weeks to make because of back ordering I payed about a grand with 8k head and fog lights as well as switch back turn signals. It should be bad *** once I get it. I'm glad I don't drive in the winter.

Prolly just keep them I have some color changing halo I could try to install and sell but the stock headlights go for $1700 new. And I only used mine for less than 10,000 miles so they are fairly new. But I don't know what do u think I should do with them

You could sell them and make some money back

but if you want to experiment I would suggest trying on some cheaper headlights lol

Sick. I've always wanted to do the same thing with the halos. I'm kind of reluctant to mess with my own headlights, though. I owned a Ford Focus with halos and it was a head turner, but they burned out twice and were a pain to change/refund.

Yea that's why I bought them I think these Iights I'm buying has a 2 year warranty and if something ever goes wrong I would have the stock lights. I will look it up on eBay to see what there worth though.

Does anyone know what kelvin looks the best I order the 8k but didn't know if the 6k would be best. They told me that my car color might make my choice matter I have an Oxford white convertible so maybe the hint of blue would look sick? Idk

Having had 8k headlights in the past, I'll stick to 6k or lower. I think the pure white would look better, personally. The good thing is the bulbs should be an insignificant investment in the whole cost of the lights, so you could change them without too much hassle.

I tried doing the baking thing to but when I couldn't figure it out I looked into the iron man headlights I'm glad I bought them but now I can't wait to get them it's also a better deal then sending the lights in to be customized

Baking them really depends on the headlight. If they use Butyl (which Raxiom does ) it's going to be a challenge to separate them. The stocks do not use butyl though. (Unless the changed it for the 13 and 14 cars).
