Put on some CATS and a decent set of Axlebacks. I got a headache from just listening to the video. I can't imagine driving around on the street.

That set-up is like a dinner bell for the police.

My opinion...hate it. There have been a bunch of threads about exhaust, we have to remeber we dont have the GT. The GT you can buy mufflers from Pep Boys and it will still sound decent, not great but decent. We have to be careful with ours because it gets ugly quick....like straight pipe.

Not quite my cup of tea but out of curiosity, what exactly does your system consist of? e.g.-Cats, OEM resonators, crossover?

not bad. the worst part about the sound is that it's an automatic lol jk.

it sounds pretty loud. in the lower RPM range, it just kinda sounds like some axlebacks added, but once it hits higher rpms, it seems like the volume is pretty loud on it.

Life's a choice. If you like it great, and you said, custom made by you.
For me it's just to loud.
How's the Inlet Air Temp on your custom air intake in traffic? (of course in most of the country any type intake is plenty cool rite now). Took my Airaid off. In 90+ degree Florida traffic it would run ambient + 35-40 or more.

Yeah that's pretty loud, cool that you like it though. Where do you live? There's a blacked out mustang that I see every once in a while, sounds like thunder is going on right next to you when he drives by. Don't know if it's a six or eight, but it's loud as hell.

Wow, What a nice sounding Mustang !!!!!!!!

It is music to the ears to hear a V6 Mustang from ten blocks away.
Ronnie

PS::: I always wondered what it would sound like if the pipes ran directly off the Manifolds without any type of crossover and no cats. Just straight back on each side.

I actually don't think it sounds that bad, it just doesn't sound as much like a Mustang (which, of course, might be bad to some people). It reminds me of an E46 M3 or maybe even a 350Z.

I don't think it sounds too bad. I drive a lot so for me it would be a bit too loud but I dont think it sounds bad. And for those saying it doesn't sound like a mustang it sounds like a V6 because that's what it has. I actually think the V6's sound really good in these cars but it will never sound like a V8.

I took my car to NTB today for tire repair. My car has a cai, tune, and borla s types. After the manager drives the car to the back for repair, some employees came out and said they digged my 5.0 but asked why I removed the badges. Me and my wife just laughed. Also, i drove past a mustang crew in another town and rev'd at them. When I finally pulled up, they said the same thing also. I think that setup is gonna sound the closest to a stock v8.
