Painted base model mirrors.

I recently painted the ugly base model side view mirrors and I just wanted to show you guys in case any of you planned on doing the same!

Click on the attachment icon, a popup window will appear, click choose file, (pictures) and when you're finished, hit upload, may take a few seconds to upload depending on the amount go pictures. and then you can close the popup window

I will be uploading one later today, I am on campus so i have yet to get a chance to take one as it was too dark in the morning!

It's not off it is just my flash was on so it took the pic kind of funny, plus the fact that they are not waxed or polished yet!

Did you use adhesion promoter on the plastic before painting? Did you sand the textured plastic or paint it as is?

I used the adhesion promoter and then I painted it, sanded it very lightly and went over it again, I didn't actually sand the surface!

It's is easy! One side was a bit more difficult but you essentially just pull from the side closest to the door outwards at a 45 degree angle!

Mine is deep impact blue! But I got it from scratch wizard, just look up kona Blue paint in a spray can you should easily find it ! Hope this helped! If you have more questions let me know!

No sorry, I looked up "deep impact blue factory OEM paint in spray can" and it came up, I believe you could probably do black mirrors and it would look sweet! I actually bought from the site through amazon! Hope that helps!
