Perfect excuse to put on the gt bumper. That way you can get the cooler valences. Then use the toe money for the a sweet front bumper haha

Finally had my car 'toed" to the shop.
Going to need a new muffler so I call the dealer. One muffler $622.82.
Looks like axle backs will be in order.

Again, what will that Mustang be worth once it is repaired? Ask yourself this question when you are in the market for your next car: if you had the choice between a "clean" vehicle (no accidents) verses one that had one on its record, which one would you choose?

If a body shop tells me my car should be totlaed, they will get the thumbs up from me any day. As much as I love my cars that I buy, I love the idea of not loosing money or having to worry about the future worth of it when it comes time to sell or trade it in.

There are plenty "clean" used Mustangs out there for sale.
Heck yes. Buy back the car for a bit, do the repairs yourself, get it back in the road as salvage. A great project for fun, have a cheap beater car, and 80% of the cash from it. Just happened to one of my cars. Paid 3k, $6300 totaled value, after deductible (500) and buyback (400), I am pretty well set...plus I still have it and the repairs are a joke.

Did they list all of the damages? If they write you off that amount, you could use that to rebuild the car better then it was.

Kevin yes I have a list. I just want my baby back to stock. Will be getting some performance mufflers out of the deal. Going with magnaflow polished and may have $ for speaker upgrades.
Thanks

In the repairs she needed a new muffler and the pipe was bent. Stock muffler $620.00 and pipe 400.00, cashed that out and called Magnaflow. Equivalent Universal part # to the Polished Axlebacks is 14336. 2 installed with pipe $380.00. Sounds like a Mustang now.

Needed rear quarter panel side stripe which was black on a black car btw. Cash out $119.00 bought the complete set of red ones $49.99. Insurance paid labor.

Boss 302 Strut Tower Brace and Raxiom tail light sequencer on order. Just got to deal with diminished value and medical now. 3 weeks and foot still hurts like heck.

Looks nice, the red stripe is a nice addition and I'm sure you'll love the new exhaust. Broken toes are no joke, athletes with toe injuries can be sidelined for awhile. Hopefully this, too, shall pass.
