Over axle pipes?

I noticed that the roush exhaust was never offered in a catback option and was wondering if i could purchase over axle pipes anywhere to try and further deepen the tone?

Borla, Lethal Performance, and one or 2 other vendors have OTA pipes. I wouldn't recommend taking off any other exhaust parts since you have Roush exhaust. Everyone says it sounds like crap once you start changing other things on it.

X pipe will give you rasp. Although, so will taking off the resonators. The Coyote and cyclone are raspy engines.

I'm trying to find the deepest tone possible, and I love the roush exhausts tone except it has awkward rasp if you inch into 3k rpm. What's the best route to find more of the tone I'm looking for?

Not Roush. Shorty headers and Borla exhaust. The RTR is good as well.

That stinks, It'll be a while before I would have the money to buy borla or rtr and by then theres plenty of other things my car could use rather than buying axle backs again.

if you dont have access to a lift and plan on doing over axles with jack stands be prepared for a job, i had a hell of a time getting mine on... eventually i had to just drop the rear end to get the clearence to hook the pipes over the axle it was a pain..

Hey Quack - That's a good question I can see that we unfortunately do not have the needed over axle-pipes you're after but most if not all exhaust shops should be able to get you set up for not too much at all! I do want to throw it out there that by increasing the pipe diameter it will make the system that much louder. I've been in a few 3.7's that have had a similar setup and the sound is pretty on the loud side where it would almost annoying just being the car for a 15-20 minute drive!

Sorry I wasn't much help on this but let me know if you have any other questions and I'm here to help!

Alex
