Next mod? Thinking tune

Any suggestions or input in next mod? Have done a lot of appearance lately and need some affordable power. Not interested in rims or tires right now either. Thinking a nice Bama tune should be next.

Great choice bro, i spent alot of build with appearance mods. Now that i got my tuner it opens alot of possibilities to getting them running how they should be run.

Sorry Chaz, read over that mod accidentally. Saw all the appearence ones and the 1 performance one didnt stick. I'd say tuner for sure. Will definitely make you love your car more.

Hate the price though but I guess it will do. Have to wait a couple weeks to save some cash.

Bama tune is a perfect start to performance modding. It wakes the car up so much even completely stock.

Hey Chaz,

Everyone in here pretty much hit the nail on the head.

You will absolutely love the way a tune will transform your car.

I would go with the BAMA SF4/X4 Powerflash Tuner for your 3.7.

Going with this will not only give you awesome power right away, it will also give you something to look forward to as the Bama team will be releasing the V2 tunes for the V6 shortly! (I know VIG is patiently waiting).

Check them out here:

You will not be disappointed and I can't wait to get a tune on your Stang!

Hope this helps!

P.S- Shoot me over a PM and I can hook you up with the forums discount code!

Thanks for the Shout guys!

I'm glad that you are both loving your Bama tunes and I know OP will love one also!

I run the 100 vegetable oil tune. Very smooth.

Just kidding. I run the 93 Race tune. I keep up maintenance on my car so not too worried about it. Actually do oil changes and such a little before the recommended mileage as I hate putting things off till the last second. My car will thank me for it after the next 100k miles.

Between the 93 Race tune, Borla S-Type mufflers, and Airaid CAI. People ask about my "5.0" quite a bit. lol. So I am assuming people like the way it sounds now.

Bama isn't a bad choice but with all of the praise MPT gets from the 3.7 community I'd definitely go with MPT. Plus, Bama hasn't released their new tunes for the 3.7 yet. I personally prefer my MPT tunes over my Bama tunes, but they're still good tunes.

Only problem is that I have a Mac and I want to use the forum discount code because that will save me $25. So I'm thinking Diablo tuner with Bama tune? Is MPT tunes on any tuner Mac compatible? Thanks guys

I know alot of people here will go with MPT because they got tunes Bama/AM does not offer yet. However, later this year Bama/AM WILL offer those tunes so I am patient. I am not dragging my car any time soon either so the 93 Race tune from Bama gives me more then enough boost to allow me spirited driving. So it is personal preference.

The thing is though Bama's "performance" and "race" tunes are not the same as MPT's/any other brand's "performance" and "race" tunes. I did a review of Bama's new tunes in the AM section of this forum if you care to read it.

Tunes have so many variables that you won't get the same "race" tune from Bama/MPT/Steeda/Lund/AED/your local dyno/etc.

That is your opinion. Like I said, it is personal preference. I gave my opinion as this is what this thread is for. I did not say any other tune was better/bad. I just mentioned that Bama/AM will be releasing tunes similar to others later this year.

Your thread that you mention is all opinions, which doesn't help anymore then how my post does. lol

Did you purchase something? The toughest part is after you purchase it and having to wait for it to show up -_- The excitement almost kills me.

No I just put my CDC grille in so I need to wait probably about 2-3 weeks until I can financially afford to get the tune, so I am literally waiting to purchase it and then wait more until I can get it lol
