Strut tower brace curiosity

I recently just bought this from CJ pony parts (FYI- still on sale for $69). I was just curious what if anything would work with putting a logo/emblem on this. Anyone have experience with decals, stickers, not sure what else? I just wasn't sure about the heat since it's right by the engine and what items may work best or what others may have done that has worked for them.

Sorry if this was covered before, I did some searching but couldn't find anything on this actual topic.

Thanks everyone!

Here's a few pics of it.

I think I've also seen pics of one guy who did a vinyl wrap of the brace; turned out good.

Bought this decal off eBay. No issue with heat. Added the other couple emblems you see also.

I have the same brace but no stickers, I don't see why they wouldn't stay on with some good quality adhesives though.

I had my cousin (graphic artist) make me a Ford Racing vinyl decal that I placed on my strut bar. Never had an issue with it bubbling, peeling, or color fade.

Dude, considering what I paid, you stole it for $69. In fact more than 1/2 price. Congrats.

I heard you should replace the bolts when putting the strut tower brace on. Is that really necessary?

I didn't replace them. It's still holding strong 1-2months later!

Those are studs that are physically part of the upper strut mount. There is no need for replacement.

For the price, it will be worth the wait! Any idea how long?

I have a laser engraved aluminum plate that sits on top of my blower housing. Had it made at the local trophy shop for $10 and attached it with permatex ultra high temp RTV. No issues, even in the summer Mojave desert heat last year.

They didn't say. Received an email after I had order and that my card was not charged because item was on back-order.

My bad, I meant nuts that attach to the strut mount bolt. Sorry.

Don't over tighten the bolts that hold the struts to the body when you mount the brace. They do not take much over spec to break off.

^^^ THIS ^^^ !!!!

Read the instructions that come with the strut brace for the recommended torque for those nuts. many have snapped the stud from over tightening!

Thanks for all your input everyone. Here is what I ended up doing. Find these three vinyls on eBay (plus they threw in a free fourth Ford one) all for about $20. Put the extra one on my truck. Here are the pics of each of them.

Does anyone have a link for the sale? I looked and didn't see it.

The original equipment should be fine. I never swapped it out on my old GT

And I thought I got a deal on it at $99! I've had Ford Racing emblems with 3m tape on mine in the past last Summer. Zero problems with em' coming off brother.
