Going for a pro charger real soon

Anyone know how much it would cost to get it installed professionally or am I better off installing it on my own. YouTube videos make it seem easy to install but I don't want to risk it

When I considered putting a turbo in my 350z I got a quote of 1500.00 plus a tune which was around another 600.00.

This pro charger comes with a handheld tuner device and the tune already programmed. But yea I had had a feeling it was going to be pricey

It'll be about 900-1500 for install, 600 for a tune. I would honestly install it yourself if you know your way around the car decently.
The tune it comes with is to get you to the tuner. I would not run anything but a custom dyno tune or remote logged FI tune from a major tuner (Lund, MPT) if you can't find a good tuner by you

I pop in here and there, I am mostly on the cyclones Facebook page now, much easier to use.
I'm enduring the feet of snow every week and hoping for spring so I can take it to the track with full bolt ons and new suspension / tires

I feel ya, GMU is getting a good amount of snow too. And people in VA are awful drivers in good weather... so snow, it's a nightmare.

I think it's possible for an average joe to install a pre-made kit, also you'll learn a lot about your car and have that self satisfaction of doing the work yourself. I would say give yourself 3-4 days to install it to be on the safe side and not rush anything.

Lol then I
Guess I'll take on the job on my own. Another thing I'm worried about is the fuel pump thing that you have to add? That's what makes it complicated for me

You dont need a boost a pump.. the kit comes with a 4.00" pulley which makes 6psi

My car made 406rwhp 336rwtq on 6psi

What kit is better price/deal the tuner kit or the complete kit? And who has the best deal I know my 6% off works at AM but I found it cheaper without a discount. Does stilled have a code for discount because there price was better than AM after discount.

What tune did you use after install? Did you bring it to a dyno tuner after?

I installed my procharger in my garage over the weekend and I had my car towed to the dyno where it was tuned by The Dyno Edge in Albuquerque, New Mexico the car was not driven until it actually hit the dyno

So u don't recommend me driving it after getting it installed? The closest dyno place for me is an hour away.

if you have the complete kit that comes with a base tune you can definately drive it, i wouldnt beat on it or anything though.

if you go with the tuner kit i would not reccomend driving the car untuned

Yeah man If you get the tuner kit I can hook you up with some 65lb injectors... never installed them. Just hit me up. They're Deatschwerks so they're the really good brand.

I was talking to the guy that had it installed and tested by them. His doesn't come with an intercooler and he made 400. They're gonna start adding the extras and dyno it again later

for 9 lbs all you would need is a smaller pulley... maybe around 3.90 and bigger injectors. 60-70lbs/hr injectors will do the trick. Or you could go with the stock procharger injectors and use a meth injection kit or run e85. Cheapest root is to run e85 but the price MAY add up needing to tune it. Best option just get bigger injectors.

You'll be at about 405-415rwhp on stock pulley at 6psi, and about 450-475rwhp on 9psi. Do you have a Procharger?
