MSN Article on Cars That Looked Better Before Redesign

Saw this on MSN Auto today about the 2015 Mustangs. I am so glad I bought a 2014.
Ford Mustang

What happened to all the muscle? The new ponycar just doesn't look as hard since its boxy lines were smoothed out. The front end of the Mustang resembles an anteater. It curves downward, and even though the fastback profile is a nod to the 1969 Mustang, it sticks out too far and looks like an underbite.

I disagree. I have a 2014 but would trade for a 2015 in an instant. However, they cost quite a bit more than an even trade... The new mustang is a polarizing design, but it my opinion it looks really good, and drives even better.

I really don't like the look of the 2015s at all. Do you have a link for that article?

agree with it. I'm not a fan of rhe 15 design much. I prefer the 14 style.

I am not envious of the body. But for the smaller engines that have the Performance Package, i am envious that the 2015s now have 3.55 gears, bigger radiator, etc. And some of the optional features on the 2014s and previous, are now mostly standard on the newer models. I believe this includes the backup camera from what I have seen as well as the LCD in the cluster.

Makes me a little upset because I got the Performance package on my 2014 and it feels like Ford didn't add as much as they could have. Maybe cuz they were holding out for the 2015s so people would actually buy them.

The 2015 ecoboost premium with the performance package has soo many goodies that even though I added alot to my car, it still lacks when compared to the 2015.

I wanted to see the 2015, then bought the 2014. I like the body style much better on the 14. Now, the standard features on the 15 are quite nice. To each his own I guess.

Agree... just hate the front end of the 2015s, and the reliability of the IRS is totally unproven.

Slap the RTR or Roush front end and you've got instant improvement!

This is true. The Roush front end doesn't look half bad. I am still trying to warm up to the tail end of the car. The tail lights just seem....odd? The 2011/12s were nice but the 13/14 were phenomenal. I also do not like the relocation of the 3rd brake light. I always liked them on the trunk lids.

I saw the 15 at the international auto show in March of last year. I purchased the 14 in April. I think the 15 is hands down the better looking/performing car but the price of the 14 at the time was unbeatable.

Im actually looking out for huge incentives on the 15 GT when the 16s drop with 5.2 flat plane crank.
