New Mods

I just pulled the trigger on MAC Ceramic Longtube Headers and a MAC ProChamber off-road midpipe as well as the CDC Performance Grille.

I should be installing those this weekend, video and pics to come shortly after. Some questions before though...

1) Is there anything I might need extra in order to properly install these? Gaskets, hoses, etc. In case anyone has installed them id appreciate the feedback.

2) Is there a recommendation as to prolonging the life of these parts? I hear some people have leaks and so forth, thought I might get a suggestion or two.

Thanks

Did the headers say they came with a gasket? If not, you could try to reuse the factory gasket. I heard they were pretty good quality.

I got them from AM. It seems like its just the headers... But ive only had the car for about 5 months so I doubt I could have caused anything serious to happen yet!

I would replace the the gaskets even the ones that come with the headers are to thin for my preference when I put my headers on I bought separate gaskets they ran about $30

The OEM ones are best, can get them at a local or online Ford dealer.

I used the oem gaskets with the Mac ceramic shorties. No leaks or issues.

Thanks for the feedback on those, I'll get those as an extra precaution to leaks or damage.
