Is my tune crap?

So ive had this dilema for anwhile im suspecting the custome tune i recieve from the shop i went to isnt nearly as good as it couldve been.
I only get up to 260rwhp at the peak which is also the end of the rpm band, i suspect the 4.10 gear ratio i have is cutting the rpm band too short thus limiting my hp

Right now i have a airaid cai 73mm bbk throttle body, eibach limited slip differential, and 4.10 gears theres are the only mods i have effecting hp, i also have the stock tires on for the base model v6 manual,

Can someone give me some insight on if i should just get a bama tuner or stick with my current tune i got on the dyno, i do intend on getting longer gears 3.55 when i finish building the twin turbo set up im planning, but id like to know from other experience or insight if my car should be putting out better numbers

Ill post the pic of the dyno chart in a couple hours

Those numbers seem about right for essentially a intake & tune. The 4.10's might make the HP report a little lower than it is, shorter gears tend to show lower HP. Depending on dyno type, weather, etc and without a baseline pre mods & tune who knows. A dyno is a tool. Your baseline could have been 240 and you gained 20whp.

Do you have baseline numbers from before mods?

Where you finish isnt nearly as important as where you start. A dyno is namely a tool for measuring gains, not simply getting a number reading at the end, since its virtually arbitrary.

Thats a very good point, do you think if i changed to longer gears i might get a bit more power? There was no platue in the dyno chart it was almost linear,

Keep the gears, open the exhaust. Headers and a good mid pipe would help considerably.

You are taking in plenty of air, now you just need to get it out.

It sure would help if we knew what you had.

It is hard to advise you when we don't even have a clue to what your driving.
