Tracking is updated, delivery is on Thursday. Calling the shop tomorrow to set up installation of my gears for Friday. Still nervous....never even seen a tuner. If something goes wrong my car will have .373's installed...hope it doesn't turn into a mess.

My advice, take it easy for the first 150 miles to allow everything to seat nicely. I was easy on mine for 200kms before wot.

Well tuner is here!! Looks pretty cheap for 399.00! Now the long wait for Monday! Guess I'll run the 87 octane out of her this weekend.

I cant believe how many people I see here that run 87. I don't even a tune and I run 91. I think the car runs better, I don't know maybe its just me but it feels stronger with the 91

Our cars will make more power on the factory tune running higher octane.

93 or bust .
Yeah but the 400 is mainly for the tunes. X4 is a huge improvement with the built in WiFi and the ability to data log without the laptop in the car

I run 87 and have absolutely no problem with the car. drives perfect. but damn, seeing these threads I kinda wonder what 3.73 gears feel like.

Unfortunately 93 octane is not available where I live.

But I do use 91 octane 100% REAL gas. That 10% ethanol crap mixed gas isn't going in my stang!

You are going to love 3:73 gears... they pull HARD.

I have a manual trans.. first gear is essentially useless unless you're racing...and then it pulls HARD, ridiculously hard.

If you're trying to drive normal in traffic then starting off in first will just piss off the people behind you. 1st gear is way too short.. You'll rev up loud and fast and look down and you'll be doing 7mph.

I start off in second unless I'm on an incline.

Also, 3:73's will give you a lot of pull at highway speeds.

Well, have reviewed the gears and tune on another post. This is NOT a everyday driver for me. I would probably go .355 if it was. But WOW what a hole shot! Gives this car some serious get up and go. This car is a really cool sleeper with these two mods. Have just ran the 87 tune, can't wait to try the 93. Shifts are much faster, can turn the tires in second. This is now a REALLY fun car to drive in town. Will miss the 2.73 on the highway. It was a lot of fun running up to 110! Have a 500 mile break in on the gears before I can take it to the max! Was going around a car, hit second hard, the car's rear end jumped a foot to the right!! My brother in laws face went a little white!! Lol....this automatic now ROCKS!!
