Raxiom Led Dome lights question?

Hey guys, new to the forum not sure if im searching right but I haven't found anything about it. My question is do your dome lights fit right? I think AM might have send me the wrong bulbs because I can't even plug them in. Not only that they seem way to big to get through the hole in the housing. Any help, advice will be greatly appreciated!

Raxiom Led Dome lights question?

You pull the whole plastic housing off, you rip it out and then unplug the old bulbs, plug in the LEDS and then snap that housing back in rather than trying to take off the circular lenses and fit the LED through there.

Sorry, I dont think I was clear. What I mean is that I did pull the housing out. I unplugged the old bulbs but the new bulbs don't go into the plug? Like its to big. And the hole for the housing also seems small for the led bulbs

Really? My LEDS were literally just plug and play. Maybe you can call AM tomorrow or post some pictures and someone else can help. I bought my LEDs off of eBay so I don't know much about the raxioms. AM will help though for sure.

Mine didn't fit either. I had to pull the circles off. Then they fit fine. I have a 2012.

Mine were identical. They didn't fit unless I pulled the clear circle covers off and went through there.

Yup, mine were the same exact ones. I've had mine in for about a year now and install was easy, just a quick swap, and still looking great. Not sure why yours are being a pain.

I believe when I installed some LEDs into my dome lights I had to use some force to push them in. Not much, but more than you would think! Those LEDs should fit!

I had the same exact issue when trying to install mine. Initially thought I recieved the wrong ones also. Took me a little while but I had to push the bulb in with some gentle force to go in but it did go in. Then to get it in the housing I took a razor blade and shaved a little around the edges, not much but enough to squeeze thru and still be properly secured as its supposed to be. Try it out.

I literally just installed mine yesterday, and I had some trouble installing them as well. They are hard to put into the socket for one, but I took a screwdriver and just made enough space for them to fit through the original plastic dome and they look and work great!

Just make sure to make enough space for the led to fit through the plastic part and you shouldn't worry. A razor or a screwdriver worked for me, just a little space and I fit them in. Just don't force it, and make sure they work before you reconnect the cover!

Hey Arlexis,

They definitely need some pushing but they should go in fine! I'm glad you got them in. How are you liking them so far?

Let me know if you have any questions!
