I read all the time about people hearing clunking from the ds. Also the play in the diff might be a factor for some. If I'm going slow up my driveway and wait for my garage door to open, release the clutch back out, you can hear a clunk under the car. I can replicate it over and over.

it's 40kmh in school zones; otherwise 50 in the city; 110 on the highway
its kind of silly, when you're always squinting to see

The USA version looks just as bad.
Maybe one of those magnifying sheets fitted over the display area would help.

My biggest pet peeve is that the interior is so nice, I feel guilty every time I gut one out

1) The two piece driveshaft. Why Ford, why!

2) The T bone shifter in the auto, it looks so ugly.

Roush using a 4 gauge instrument cluster, I could care less for his signature and the odometer; I would trade two gauges and a message center for it. Very flawed if you ask me. And that he doesn't offer most of the part I'd like to put on my car. The thing I absolutely 1000% hate is a hood stand, which is on the car. I've got hood struts and going to put them on soon. Which the interior is nice, and love the look of the car, makes power everywhere, could be better on power. Wish Roush made their big brake kit standard on 427Rs, it really needs it...
Few dislikes, a lot of likes, all in all an awesome car if I do say so myself...

What I would consider as a negative is that by driving a mustang, some people will always have something bad to say about it and that you're presumably some sort of ******.

I agree with the climate control issue I live in Florida and I'm a northern man but when I turn the ad on even I get cold sometimes and I have to turn it off till it gets to muggy in there 5. Mins later

And also to the person who said top speed of 113, you must not know how to drive I got my car up to 140 before I started to slow down because I thought I saw a cop

The top speed from the factory is governed at ~117. Unless you're tuned, you're stuck at 117.

Above that, you're playing with fire with the stock driveshaft.

Yup. Ford found a way to implement a software limiter and hardware limiter. LMAO!!!

Oh no not just like the original Mustangs. Dratz!
69 Dodge Charger 440 was the same as I recall. I hate when the tach is on the left.
I want to see that tack on the right just like my shifting hand.

I had no complaints about the stock 17" Rims. I'm just stuck in the 60's lol.
Besides State Farm bought me new wheels! New Sequential Brake Lights, Performance Exhaust, Strut Tower Brace and Automatic Head Lights.

I guess I can have one complaint, the paint on the auto shifter is peeling.

Overall great, have 2014 premium model. Does have quite a bit of plastic in the interior, especially the door panels, but for the price I guess can't complain too much. Would have liked to have seen a little more leather though instead of plastic for a premium model.

I wish the wheel gap was smaller. I optioned mine with the performance pack and a little bit of lowering would have been great. I saw a 2015 recently and that one was just right. Don't know if that was modified.
Also wish the key was smaller, the key wears holes in my pants. Something like the vow switchblade style would have been cool.
Better plastic and tougher seat leather are other upgrades that could have been done.

The only complaint I have with my 14' manual v6 is the placement of the cup holder behind the shifter. They fixed this in 2015. But when a cup is in the holder, it's extremely inconvenient to hit it every time I shift. Grrrr.

Went 140 with CAI roush axle back and staggered tires, no tunes no shaking, vibrating or anything to feel worried about nothing but fun and adrenaline

interior is my only gripe. My 2010 mazdaspeed3 had a much nicer interior, and was $4,000 cheaper than my 2013 5.0 ... i understand to an extent you are paying for an engine and chassis, but the S197 interior is fairly lackluster. The ms3 had blu tooth standard, and why blu tooth does not come standard in every manual transmission car is beyond me, but Ford decided against it.

Last gripe, why is the steering wheel volume button on the right side? If i have my left hand on the wheel, and my right hand on the shifter, it takes more time and effort to move over and hit a little volume button with my right hand than it does to just turn the damn knob. Mazda had it on the left, which makes much more sense...

The base audio system on my 14 and no BT standard. The more I think about how my wife's base Versa has a better audio system and BT the angrier I get. Her car was $12k brand new 3 years ago, I paid $18k new last year for my mustang, why the hell wouldn't Ford have added BT standard by then? I knew when I bought the car it didn't have BT, I didn't really care then(even though I was trading a car with BT and premium sound) but now it
really bothers me. The whole crappy audio system is slowly killing me inside. I'm on the fence between upgrading it all or just saying screw it and trading up to something with a solid system and better performance(v8).

I have been racking my brain and::::

I sure can not find a thing to complain about with my Mustang. Not one single think at all.
Of course I did a few mods to make it mine.

It was pretty close to free

I had a 2009 Mini John Cooper Works that I paid $28,000 for in 2008. I drove it, Tracked it and loved it until 2011. The warranty ran out and they wanted $3,500 to extend it for two more years.
I went to my Ford dealer to see if they had a Focus ST in stock.
A very stormy rainy Sunday.
I walked around the lot and "NO" Focus ST and no other Focus I liked.
On the way back to the showroom I seen the most beautiful Mustang in the world.
I looked it over and it was $33,000 ( I fell in love) but out of my price range.
A sales guy asked me if I seen anything I liked. Of course I said yes but out of my price range. He told me the boss looked at my Mini and would give me a good deal.
It started at me paying $10,000 plus tax & transfer.
2nd time it was $7,500 plus stuff-- He ask what I wanted to pay, I said $4,500 out the door and my Mini. He came back with $6,000 out the door.
I grabbed my keys and headed for the door. Sales guy stopped me and told me to wait a second. He came back and said if I took the Mustang right now I could have it for $5,000 out the door.I bought it on the spot
I financed it through Ford Credit and got the 7 year 70,000 bumper to bumper warranty for $995.00
Drove home and ordered Magnaflows for it.
MCA Red Candy, automatic, V6 premium and all mine.
I love this Mustang and plan on keeping it for a very long time.
Ronnie
