I knew it was not a 5.0 when I bought it.

I'm more then happy with the 3.7 Cyclone V6. I don't track anymore and the six is all I need. I get 29/30 MPG on the highway, 24/26 around town, My insurance is 1/2 of what a V8 would cost me and I get to use 87 octane gas in it.
It handles like a dream with a lighter front end and I can run 90/95 all day long on I-95 keeping up with traffic.
It's only a V6 but it did outrun an early Cobra on a run from NPD to Cedar Key Florida.
The guy with the Cobra did not believe me until I popped the hood for him to count the spark plugs.
At my tender age I just don't need a penis extension of a 5.0.
Ronnie

No, I'm not about to swap it for anything.

^ because he said tender and penis in the same sentence? Lol. My penis happens to be young and dumb and quite enjoys my 5.0 but honestly the 3.7's are nothing to be ashamed of

Don't get me wrong

I do love the 5.0
I think that engine in the Mustang makes it one of the top performing muscle cars in this era. Of course there is the Hellcats, Camaro Z-28's and a few others that cost three or four times more and crappy for a street machine you drive every day. The GT is just made right and there is enough performance stuff out there you can get it to be exactly what you want.

Some of us just prefer the 3.7 V6 which is a perfect engine in a Mustang. Powerful, Light, Responsive and makes the Mustang "Fun to Drive"

When I first seen my Mustang sitting on that car lot with nothing around it. I fell in "LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT" I did not care if it was a six or eight. ( LIKE HAVING A NEW BABY- DON"T CARE IF IT IS A BOY OR GIRL)

II'm more then happy with the six, I'm way more then happy with my "RED RYDER"

No, I'm not about to swap it for anything.

I could not agree more with this guy I'm 20 and pay for all my own stuff so it was just cheaper to afford and I drive a lot so the good gas mileage and still have over 300 hp is worth it. I love racing the older GTs' that think they still have the power with today's technology and then drive away after they lose instead of admitting defeat to a cyclone

They are but these are American powered platforms since 1964.5.

Why out a damn rice burner in it. I know it's a mean motor but common. It's not American.

Ya I know it's global. Some things just shouldn't be global in my opinion. If they want to take the mustang global than bring the great gas mileage cars that ford makes for China here. Food for thought

Does it really matter, that much to you all, how many cylinders are under hood?
A mustang is a mustang regardless of what engine is in it.

Well it mattered to me. I could have bought an 8 of my choice but I wanted the 6.
I don't love it because that is what I have but rather have it because that's what I wanted.
(Believe Mud was kiddung a bit, as was I.)

Some of car owners need the penis extension-SOME DON"T

V8
V6
Turbo 4
All in a 2015 Mustang.
It has already been said that the Turbo Four is capable of up to 600 horsepower. I'm sure it will cost a lot to do it but """DUH""" What the heck. I'm sure someone has probably already done it.
The 3.7 V6 is already turning 10 second quarters with just a Turbo from C.F.M.
The V8 5.0's are capable of up to 1,000 horsepower with a $$$$$ enema.

We are all not drag racers and no matter what engine you have in your Mustang. It really does not matter. It's still a Mustang and loved and respected by a whole lot of people. I'm talking about people that don't even own a Mustang. I get compliments all the time from all sorts of people.

My 14 base with tech package had Sync with Bluetooth. It does not have XM though. I think "tech" means Sync and a power drivers seat and auto dim rear view mirror and that's it.

Absolutely the biggest FAIL on my 11 and 14 Mustangs have been the lousy steering wheel adjustment lever that sticks out and is just right for hitting your right knee on exiting the car.

Since my Stang is my daily city driver (except during winter), I'd prefer a 4 cylinder just for fuel economy, but of course if I had a choice, I would take an 8.

That's because premiums come standard with the sync technology package (102a option on the s197s. This package is also an option on the base models though.

I should have seen that one coming......

I wonder if there is much mpg differance (real world) in the 4/6. From what I've read there is some but not significant with the 6/8. I know in driving there is a biggie in the 6/8 but 99% of the time it doesn't matter but when you mash the go pedal in an 8 it's yee-haw time. If I was looking today I doubt I would pay the premium for the Eco-boost I might just spring for the V8. I have only occasional regrets about the V6. It is a performance bargin.

Yeah, the tech package adds Sync, power drivers seat, and auto dimming rear view. I love the V8, but I think it might be cheaper getting to 500whp on the 4, since it's FI from the factory. Don't quote me on that though.
