Mid pipe help!

Ok so I have bbk LT headers and the catted x pipe with roush mufflers. The setup is really sweet buuuut I felt like it was restrictive and raspy at high rpm. I added magnaflow resonators and it tamed the rasp way down, but it sounds really low now. I'm wondering if a non catted x pipe would bring up the noise any ideas? I tried it on a couple months ago without the LT headers and resonators and it was extremely loud. I'm sure resonators might help but I'm not sure...maybe a custom h pipe?

I can tell you that I have a catless H and I get so many compliments it isn't even funny. Low rumble. No rasp. ALMOST every off road X-pipe guy I meet says they love my sound.

That sounds exactly like what I want, but I guess I have to go get a custom h pipe done since I have the bbk LT headers..I might have to pay some money though

Ya H-pipes are know to reduce the rasp. Without cats it should gain some sound out of it. Good Luck! Post the price of a custom h-pipe if you get it made

Thanks! I'm going to see if I get some quotes this weekend, I just want more of a roar. It has it without the resonators but then you hit WOT and it gets raspy

I am looking at going to long tubes and was told they could just cut my Pypes offroad H pipe and weld to Long tubes. BTW here is my sound

That's sounds good I'd switch it back, sometimes I think about removing the resonators but that rasp kills

Test it out and see, I'm messing with the while system back and forth till I'm happy with the sound. I have the roush ab and I've tried it with the cat less x pipe alone and that was insane wayyyy to loud. Then I bought the bbk lt headers and catted pipe, which is still loud but not anything compared to the non catted pipe. I'm seriously considering the h pipe though to take away that rasp

I'm running Borla longtubes, custom off-road h-pipe (made from my legal h-pipe), 18" Glasspacks, and pype bombs. Love the sound other than the drone and break in tone at 4K rpm due to the pype bombs. Gonna be installing S-types soon to fix that
