Need advice on buying a Base 2011/2012 Manual V6

I am looking for a base model 2011 or 2012 Base V6 with mileage around 45-50k (basically Decent mileage before power train warranty wears out.)

I am based in the bluegrass state of KY. I just wanted you guys opinions on what would be good price out the door from a private party or dealer for my requirements? Yes I have checked out edmunds and kbb but looking for some good ol this is what I sold mine for or bought mine for and what area you got it from?

I don't think dealers sell 2011-2012 but even if you did find one, there would be no warranty for 40-50K miles so I would for sure get it private party. I bought my 2013 premium about 6 months ago for 17,500 so maybe around 15K for a 2012? Not exactly sure.

If it's Ford Certified, he would have a warranty. Just have to pay a tiny deductible on any claims.

In 2012, they made 10,243 coupes with stick, base and Premium combined. If you are open to convertibles, add another 957. Not sure how just base models break down out of these numbers. Gives you an idea of the pool size of 2012s out there.

I bought my 2012 V6 in February for $17,000 in central Illinois. It had 13,000 miles on it and still some of Fords original warranty.

Traded in a 2010 Focus, so got it out the door for around 10k.

I got mine on May 2014 for 20k, 2011 Premium with 36000 miles on it.

I think I overpaid a little bit, but that's what I get for being impulsive. 😔

You should be looking for 13-14 cars with a 15K budget, the base cars get better standard features such as better steering wheel and controls, standard HID's and LED tails.
