How many MPG do you get?

I mainly do driving around town so I'm on the highway very little but I still only average 19 mpg. Is that normal? However, I did take a road trip this weekend and averaged 27.6 mpg and was very pleased with that.

Did your mpg go down after installing the borlas? I've been thinking about the s-type or some Ataks. How are you liking the style?

The S-Types are great and I find my self not listening to music anymore while I drive. I doubt they've affected my mpg at all but now I'm heavier on the gas because I just want to hear the exhaust. I definitely recommend Borla's and you can't go wrong with either the ataks or s-types.

Thanks. Someone is selling some Ataks for around $500 that I'm considering. I can't stand the stock exhaust after going to a meet and hearing someones borlas

How many MPG do you get?

Going through the gate on a military base kills my mileage, usually just around town I'll get 19-20, with all the stop and go it goes down to 16.5-17.5.

The only thing so far on my car are black Pype Bombs, which I love to hear.

I'm about 17.5 and I mostly drive around town, but I don't really care because I'm happy with my car smiles per gallon. My friends new eco boost gets 29.3 around town that's really good I think

I'm noticing that the dealers that advertise the new 2015 Mustangs on TV are now stating "up to 28 MPG", meaning 'Don't buy a Mustang and worry about it's gas mileage'.

I'm not proud, lol. It's only about five miles to work. It's school traffic in the morning and stop and go on the way home. My last road trip home was 1300mi and the reading sat up around 31 for most of the trip.

I had a jeep before my mustang so even if I'm only getting 18-19 mpg it's still a good improvement over the jeep's mpg

About 19.5 city driving, close to 29 on the road, with my '14 V6 Performance Package. However, I replaced the so-called "tire repair kit" with a full-size spare and wheel, so I'm carrying a bit more weight.

A bit off topic but just a quick question.
I assume that full size spare does not fit in your wheel well.

I have a V6 with CAI and a Bama 93R tune. I just changed gears to 3.73. Yesterday, I got no less than 25.8 to 31.5 MPG at cruise controlled 65.

That's down from 35 MPG with the stock 2.73 gears.

To my surprise, it does, even with the larger wheel and tire size - it completely fills the well and does not interfere with the carpet support panel. I had an early model '14 V6 that came new with a spare that fit, but it was a smaller tire.

Good news! Your warranty is up! Time to get a twin turbo setup lol.

I'm averaging around 19.5 to 20.5 mixed city/hwy with 3.73s on 93 street tune from bama.

Haha, I went ahead and got the 100k warranty. My dealer is awesome. Once I saw that a single tail light was $700, I decided that I wanted to not deal with issues like I have on other vehicles.

It's why I'm not getting a tuner. I'm gonna have plenty of style and handling, but no power adders. I'm still trying to figure out how to do gears and if I can have them adjust the tire size to something way different to make up the difference for 3.55's. My dealer will warranty FRPP gears if they install them.

What happened with the tail light? I've currently got these streaks on mine (both sides) in the same spot... They seem to be INSIDE the tail light as everything I've tried has failed to make it disappear in the slightest. I'm gonna head over to the dealership tomorrow to see what they say and if they can be replaced.

Oh, nothing. It was just a general statement of me noticing the fact that the parts of this car add up to be WAY more than the whole. Headlight housings are similarly priced and if you look in the manual, it states that if the tails or DRL's go out that there is no bulb to replace and to see the dealer. So the warranty that came to something like 7% of the purchase price wasn't really a hard decision.

Since you mentioned the manual, I went ahead and did a little digging. Seems that what I have would fall under:

"These are examples of unacceptable moisture (usually caused by a lamp
water leak):
• Water puddle inside the lamp.
• Large water droplets, drip marks or streaks present on the interior of
the lens.

Take your vehicle to a dealer for service if any of the above conditions of
unacceptable moisture are present."

Dealer it is!

If you were able to change the tire size enough to make up the difference for 3.55 gears (which is too far to go in tire size) you would in effect be cancelling out the advantage of the gears.
Of course there's other devices that can adjust for speedometer correction, besides a tuner.

No, I mean could the gears be installed and then change the tire size in the computer without actually changing tire size so it thinks I have smaller tires which would compensate for the higher gears.

Oh! Don't see why not.
I believe the devices that are made for speedometer correction will allow you to make the correction by inputting actual tire diameters and/or gear changes.
I'm guessing this just results in a change in the calculation used in the computer. I wouldn't think the computer would know the difference whether it was for tire dia or gear ratios. But I don't know what the computer holds for retrievable information
Where are you going with this? Are you thinking that if you made the change, the computer could distinguish what the change was for and thereby a dealer would know?

Re-read your comments. If you had the dealer make the correction based on a drastic tire change I think it would be pretty obvious. don't you?
