It's that "South Florida" thing....I used to live in Boca Raton, and had to get out of there after 4 years; I started copping an attitude that the rest of the world owed me.

After being back in Central Florida now for 20 years, and being slapped around, I have realized that there's nothing that's free; one way or another, we pay for it.

We all do dumb ****. That's life. Hopefully we learn from it. Maybe now you'll take the time and gather some more info before assuming something and then getting mad when it doesn't go your way. I'm sure we've all done it at some point, then we realize what an ******* we were, and we learn to be more informed and less entitled.

Take a drive, get your freebie oil change and then find a good shop you like(if you aren't doing your own changes). Be nice to service people(all fields) and it will pay off.

My free oil change would be 8 hours 1 way. I think I'll take them up on it.

Just to be clear I wasn't an *** to the service manager I just didn't get how it wouldn't be done a different dealer, I know some people can be dicks to others but I carried the conversation respectfully

Yeah, I think it's just specific dealer appreciation in giving you a "free" oil change when buying a car from them. Don't worry, the price of that oil change is stuck inside the price of the car somewhere. Lol. Idk about you guys but buying 5w 50 full synthetic gets pretty expensive. I could definitely use a free oil change.

My dealer gives free PA state inspections. Oil changes are $9.95. But I'm betting for a Mustang it's not $9.95. I think there's a 5 quart maximum.

Don't forget that the dealer may "find" things that are "broken" while your car is in the bay...and those won't be free.
