How about matte black stripes, aluminum rear window louvers, black billet upper and lower grilles...

My car keys have a running pony emblem logo on the back, not the FORD logo. I wonder what determines the back of the keys?

I think I have the ford logo on my key because it used to be a rental car, the poor thing has key marks all over the door handle.
But hey it was cheap.

Yea... I kinda just threw that in there lol. You know when you see something and it randomly makes you think of something else completely unrelated to the thread? Yeeeea, that's what happened in my brain.

To be on topic for OP,
I bought a 2014 Mustang v6, black just like yours. It had the appearance package so I had the small foglights, quarter window louvers, the small crappy spoiler, and black rims.

The first appearance mod I had to do was put a GT500 spoiler because I think they look beautiful. Then swapped the upper/lower grilles for the Roush upper/lower. Put on some green stripes, added an RTR decklid panel, and it started to look fresh!

Pink neons, body kit, 22's, 4" cowl hood, 2' tall rear spoiler.

Or, do whatever you want. You're the one making the payments. With an open ended question like this you're going to get 100 different answers and 101 people who disagree about what looks best.

First thing I would do: window tint, wheels, side markers, and in that order.

Some fog lights would be nice too.

What I've done so far is a new rear valence, deck lid panel, and hash marks on the fenders and I smile every time I unlock my car.

The grille and louvers are next!

I'm a fan of the dual stripes not matte as suggested earlier but either white or a color you would like to be your theme.

I think the best bang for buck mods are the roush upper grille, fog light setup (roush or raxiom foglights) and mirror covers, hit those up first imho

Get tires and rims all together, A decent pair or rims will set you back $200 a rim, -- $800 there, the tires with decent performance, look to see a bill of $1,500. Discussed in an older thread, the best mod your money should go towards is a tune and then gears; nothing wakes up your car like that, about $1100 also, I would say go for what makes you feel the car first then go for appearance.

here is the thing: I'm 16 about to turn 17 and the car was a gift from my parents and its completely payed off ( I am very lucky and I know it) I'm not too concerned with performance cause I'm not planning on driving it over 70 to be honest. Also my parents probably wouldn't be to thrilled with me doing much more to the engine other than a cai. We make pretty good money and my dad (who likes the car just as much as me) has told me that money Isnt really an issue and I should get whatever I want, but I don't like to take advantage of that so id like to keep the price low.

Damn Good on you. You sound like a very respectable person imo. Oh and to the going 70mph, you can kiss that goodbye. Just give it time, the excitement will eventually catch up to you, trust me. Just be safe about it and don't be reckless around other vehicles.

The first thing I do for all my cars is get those windows tinted! Makes a huge difference. I recommend 30%(I thinks that's a good median) but check your local state laws first on this to see the legal limit. Have fun modding!!!

He's a lucky guy to still have this car tho. If I could have that for my first car I would take it in a heartbeat.

If money wasn't an issue then the cost for insurance wouldn't be an issue...

No doubt i will upgrade sometime in the next ten years or so to a gt. My dad owns a 1966 convertable that we've had for 25+ years and ive always wanted a mustang so this car was a way for my to get one with really cheap insurance and good gas milage. Also the more money I use for my car reduces the amount of money my dad has to restore his mustang. right now we are looking at about a $40k restore for his car and putting a new 5.0 in it. so i would like to see him get his dream car built too.

If you want to do a blacked out look first thing is to get rid of that chrome piece around the top grille
