X-pipe with resonators

So I have the bbk lt headers and the catted x pipe with roush axlebacks and magnaflow resonators...does anyone know how much of a sound difference there will be if I add the non catted x pipe??will it still be too loud!?

Well it was ok without the resonators but the resonators actually toned the noise down like 75% I was thinking maybe the non catted will raise it up a bit. I've had just the non catted x pipe with the roush ab and it wasn't pretty at all.

I think the only way it would tame the rasp but still get the benefits of non-catted would be to go with th Borla Touring and sell the Roush. When we drove both cars tonight my roush with stock exhaust still rasps up high but the magnaflows seemed to tame it a lot. Since your running with the BBK lt's and thinking of going the X pipe without cats, best to sell the roush but maybe consider an S-type since you already have the resonators on them...Still pushing for you to get the 3.73! lol there is also that ghost cam running on a catted x pipe too =/

This exactly. If i change my mid pipe my Roush will be replaced by something much quieter to help balance the exhaust note.

Yea your right I heard the 12 with the full setup bbk lt headers catted x and borla touring and it sounded really nice but it's you tube...and I would defiantly hit the gears before a borla system only bcuz of the price difference it's cheaper for gears lol

And imagine with your tires and the automatic, that thing will rip and hook way better than mine did on stock tires, I would say save for the gears at Steeda and then once you see how fast you climb into the RPM's based on your tune, consider either going catless or changing the muffler out

And that was with a stock MT82, 1st gear was rough but second gear was really raw into 3rd. Others might chime in but I think that would be the best progression if you had to put in resonators after the Roush when the LT + catted X pipe then Roush were installed. there is of course this -- https://youtu.be/LbLAwoJrxbc

This video shows exactly the build and more or less sound of a BBK LT header with a non-catted Xpipe and Roush exhaust sounds like, however, no resonators so that mid to upper rasp can be mildy ignored based on what you currently have -- (4:32 begins in video)
