Sync update made stereo not remember input

so, this latest upgrade annoys me. I only use USB mode and play from my thumb drive, and now whenever I turn off the car with it in USB mode, when I start it back up its always in FM radio mode! wtf?! it never remembers USB at all anymore. needless to say I'm pissed because this didn't happen beforehand. anyone else running into this issue?

Mine did that before the upgrade. I have noticed an improvement in the sound quality since the upgrade.

Before the update (I hesitate to call it an upgrade) it would always revert from bluetooth to USB, if I was previously using the BT audio. If I had been listening to USB however, it would pick that back up the next time I got into the car. Now it always goes back to the radio from USB as the OP describes. This update was supposed to fix the problem of not resuming BT audio, but I've found it hit or miss on that and now it frequently tells me there's no BT device available, I wasn't having that problem before.

ugh, well i'm glad it's not me.

to fix it, what i've started to do is just turn the radio power off before i shut the car off. when i get back in and start it up, i just have to hit power, and it's on USB.

stupid microsoft.

Mine did that before the update...and after it too. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason...just general flakiness of the software, I think.

Gotta think Ford has a patch on the way - at least I hope so.

My car was also made in late 13 and there was an update for my sync which I will be doing today. Go to the website and check it out.
