Roush as long as nothing else is changed on the system, in other words muffler change only...

My man ... use the search feature, you are not the first person to ask this since this car came out 5 years ago.

Loudest Exhaust for a 3.7
Best sounding Axleback exhausts
Need an exhaust reference? Click me!
Picked out some new exhaust....
Deepest sounding exhaust setup
Least Raspy Exhaust
Can't decide exhaust
Axle-back exhaust
New 3.7 axleback available - Trident Motorsports
Roush axle-back exhaust
Roush Axleback exhaust vs. Borla ATAK Axleback exhaust
Moded 3.7 2014 (California special custom)
In search of deeper/louder exhaust note
axleback vs catback
Exhaust update. 3.7 MBRP lethalperformance o/r h ghost cam....
Muffler delete
best exhaust
2014 v6 mustang flowmaster force ii exhaust
Lethal O/R H pipe w/ Mac axleback?
Pro chamber exhaust thing for 2014
Pype bomb exhaust 14 mustang v6?
Dump exhaust question.
Deleted Mufflers??
V6 sound like a GT ?
Thoughts on electric cutout?
Magnapacks on a 3.7?
Resonator placement

There are plenty more, but i feel i've made my point. Starting a new thread for every single question clutters up the forum and makes it very difficult for people to search for information because they have to sort through 100 threads ^^ to find the answer they're after.

Not to mention your going to get a list of every setup known to man recommend to you. It's all personal preference man. Listen to sound clips, read reviews, drop the cash.

In answer to your question...the majority of owners prefer what they have on their cars. And what they have are Roush, Borla(Ataks, Stingers, or Touring), Magnaflows, Pypes, Flowmaster, MBRP, etc. Many in combination with off road x pipe, long or short tube headers and with or w/o cats and resonators.
I think your best bet is to look for, and listen to, the sound samples to decide what you prefer.
What someone else prefers may not at all be what you like.

Everyone thinks they have the best setup.

Case and point: I have the Borla S-Types. They are THE BEST.

Maybe they could spice up the MOTM contest with an exhaust sound of the month contest. (no cheating allowed.)

I was reading reviews on AM and some of them said the Auto with exhaust sounded terrible due to the shifts being all over. Can anyone comment on this?

Opinions are like, ah never mind. Lol
Auto's shifts are all over? Wouldn't that be the manual since everyone shifts differently?

The automatic just isn't going to have the engine breaking a manual has. Therefore you're not going to have that loud rumble and popping when letting off the gas.
Aftermarket exhaust sound great on the autos.

I hate that popping sound, I don't rev the engine for no reason so the only time I heard the popping sound was when I first put them on and reved the engine while it was in park. Have never heard it pop since. And Roush are the best since that's what I have on my car. Also there is absolutely no drone.

I really want to hear the stingers in person because in video, I hear no difference.. they all sound the same to me. a side by side would be an awesome video for us to make though so people can compare them easily

I see. Any reason "drone" would be worse on the autos?

Cruising in 6th gear at low rpms perhaps? Havent compared the two so can't say. It always amazes me how people insist on louder exhaust then complain about drone. Make exhaust louder and you hear it louder is what it really boils down to. My stock mufflers had drone too if you listened for it. My daughter complained about the Magnaflows on my 4 banger PT Cruiser but doesn't on my Stang. Don't want drone get a Prius.

My quote and comment had nothing to do with his actual post.

Exhaust

Mariusvt this isn't an Internet flame group. Why take things personal just because the system picked up the wrong quote? Smalls asked if there's any reason the auto drones more than the manual. My apologies that there was a glitch in the system.
