About the same as getting a procharger, maybe a little less. What numbers do you expect from it, any guesstimation?

I want 400. I've decided if I want to go fast and play with boost, get a LS motor. They love love love boost. I'll race a v8, show a v6.

If you can get 400 that would be amazing, I would definitely look into doing that, with that kind of number, really though I would probably be happy with around 360 rwhp.

Probably loosen the clearances up from .0015 to .002. Racing bearings. The only problem I'm running into is bearing sizes and choices. They only make 3 and they are from ford. So you can't go too crazy.

Well I know next to nothing, about that sort of thing, so I'll let you iron it out XD. Where are you going to be getting all of your stuff from, MMR?

Good thing about building up the N/A engine without going FI is everything will be happening right away. No waiting for a turbo to spin or anything. No "Lag". BUT, if you did go FI later after building up your engine that much, expect for a monster v6.

If I did have it bored over and did all the other work, would the normal 3.7l FI kit work, or would you have to have a custom kit made at that point?

Various places. MMR will just do rods and Pistons. But they are extremely heavy compared to stock.

Ah ok, what do you recommend doing first? This is my daily driver, so I am trying to have as little downtime as possible.

That's tough to say. I personally am getting another motor to work on in my spare time. But suspension is probably the easiest to do in a day. Least with air tools and loctite

I thought about getting a second engine to work on, how much do the 3.7s run? I know the coyotes are expensive.

$800-2000. Depends on mileage really. You still take a chance because they come out of wrecked cars.

That is the 2013-14 version, there is a 2010-2012 version too. I have thought about getting that, but damn it is expensive!

Until it rains. Was seriously wanting it till I realized that the engine would be soaked in the rain

Yea, I have those very same worries about it, the 2013 one doesnt look quiet as bad as the 2010-2012 one though.

Engine is water sealed, fyi...
Only thing that hood wouldn't agree with is snow.

Create a deflector for water (for your intake), and put a watersock on your air filter.

You remember when my car wouldn't start from being in the rain for a week with no hood at the body shop don't you?

You won't get that much water on with that hood.
Check forums where people have that hood.

It would look pretty cool with all white except the two vent areas black.

Installed the Trident Motorsports Axleback today, have clips from stock and after the install, This weekend I will be installing my LT headers, Hpipe, and Highflow cats.

Sorry about the poor video quality and the wind, all I have to record with is my Iphone, and I pretty much uploaded directly to youtube.

Yea, I was fine, it just did a lot of damage to the body on that side. Hopefully another week or two and I will have it back, the body shop has had it for 3 weeks now.
