Road trip Charleston to Atlanta

Hello

My first real long road trip in my car. 750 miles total round trip. I did get the original Pirelli tires balanced/rotated the day before the trip. My car now has 26800 miles.

The car performed like a champ and really showed its stuff rolling in the Atlanta I-20 and 285 traffic. Not sure why they post a speed limit in Atlanta as everyone drives 75-80 MPH.

I averaged 27 MPG with the cruise control set on 79 MPH. Plenty opportunities to punch the speed up triple digits including one jump up to the preset limit of 110 MPH. The car still had plenty to give and it will cruise at 100 MPH around 2000 RPM's.

Next mod will be an upgraded drive shaft and then I will get BAMA to provide a new tune to remove the top end speed limiter.

This is my weekend & road trip car. At this time I would consider upgrading to a 2015/16 and get the V-6 engine again but since my car is paid for I will stick with what I have.

Make sure to post about the drive shaft. I'm back and forth about doing it before the tune. One bad youtube video about a DS failure can keep you up at night.
